Evap issue. The seller told me this was a common issue with the M240i and it appear I have a limited lifetime warranty

The 2 Series and A5 feel like two very different approaches to the same segment.
The 2 Series feels more playful and driver-focused, while the A5 leans more towards a refined and understated vibe.

Paddle shifters retofit f22 230i x drive
I just retrofitted my 2018 230i xdrive with paddle shifters, and it makes the car so much better and fun to drive. I ordered the factory parts on ebay, had a local indy shop install them then coded the car myself with bimmercode. It’s wasn’t quite plug and play, but was very simple. The bimmercode app had an option for paddle retrofit under the front module category, set it to activate and voilà. I also activated the sport transmission and wide screen apple carplay while I was at it. It’s somewhat unusual that a 230i with m sport to not come from the factory with paddle shifters, if your car doesn’t have them, its an easy fix and totally worth it. Parts were around $250 and install was 2 hours of labor, bimmmercode app is like $50. Next up will be xhp transmission tune a JB4 engine piggy back tune. The paddle shifters and sport transmission coding alone, make that car feel way better, like a different car.

M sport conversion
Maybe it’s me but I haven’t been able to find content on the conversion so I decided to post my journey here. Parts came in yesterday and the test fits came out amazing. Looking for painters to get it done in the next week. If anyone wants to ask anything feel free!

BMW idrive
BMW stuck on bmw screen. Been like this weeks it’s doing my absolute head in. Tried bimmer code but can’t do much on that. Heard ista+ can do it but no idea what I’m doing with that. Disconnected battery. Tried reset. No luck. BMW have quoted £400 just for diagnostic. I’m in uk Liverpool. Can anyone recommended anywhere or anything I can do to sort the issue. I think it’s just the software that needs updating as aux is still working. If I get a secondhand head unit and replace it will it work? Thanks

Serves me right for going on green. Write off?
Clipped the corner of a minibus at about 60kph when they turned across me. Left wheel was pointing outwards about 10° and there was a nice big puddle of oil on the floor. Engine could still start at least. Do we think it's a write off, or is it salvageable?

ECO PRO Readings - F22 M240i xDrive - Suspension Upgrade Benefits?!?
I installed Turner Motorsport Delrin subframe bushings and H&R front and rear sway bars last week on my 2017 F22 M240i xdrive and I am getting way better eco pro readings. +24kms on a third of a tank from full with 256 kms on the trip odometer...and I am at a 166942kms total...I was lucky to see +14kms on a full tank with modest hwy/city combined driving before the suspension upgrades.
Please feel free to share your ECO PRO readings as I am enjoying the upgrades and fuel saving especially with the recent surge in gas prices.
