Slow growth?

Musa basjoo or so I was told when I bought. Last year around June I ordered this little guy but he was no more than 12 inches tall then. He got about 3 or 4 foot last year and this year he seems to just be stagnant at this height. 13x13x13 every 2 weeks. Water quite frequently like I do my elephant ears. Is this a dwarf or is that a thing and will this guy eventually take off like I see ithers around my town? Zone 7b for reference

Should I buy?

I found this banana plant at the plant shop on discount for 17 euros, do you think it’s a fair price?

She has a couple of crispy leaves but no pests on sight. What is the best approach to have her thrive again (I’ve never owned a banana plant before).

Bananas not growing?

Hi all! I’ve had these banana trees for about 3 years now and still no bananas. I’m only concerned because my friend has had theirs for only 2 years and it’s already growing bananas.

My Gros Michel banana came back with one leaf tip in my greenhouse. Started to turn black. Brought it outside as i though some fresh air and rain would do it some good.... It just got worse. Now i need to buy another. RIP

Banana Tree

What is my banana tree missing? I was going to put fish emulsion and epsom salt but I don’t know. The soil is a bit dry….so maybe I’m not watering it enough. The black spots are not dirt either. The soil consist of a bit of peat moss, compost, and perlite…so maybe it’s the lack of water….i need help!

How can I save my banana plant?

These black spots appeared on the leaves, stem, everywhere. Is there anyway to save it? It spread ridiculously fast, they were not here or at least not noticable just a few days ago

Dead Red Banana stump

I planted three full size banana plants last year. I live in Texas and I covered them with the leaves I cut down. We experienced a freeze in the winter and I decided to cut it down. The stump was mushy so I cut away all of the mushy parts. And then this happened. Are these baby banana plants?

What is wrong with my banana tree?

I recently bought, then repotted (in a mixture of fast draining soil and tropical plant soil) a banana tree. And within two weeks with watering about once a week, it has grown these darker, brown spots and decay.

It is in a bright sunlight, but indirect sun position in my living room.

Too much water/sun/wrong soil. But I’d love to save it!

Where can I buy a banana tree?

A year ago they were all over the trendy online plant retailers. Now the only ones I can find are on kind of questionable looking sites, but perhaps they’re just small businesses without great web design. Looking for recommendations!

Also this will be an indoor tree that I would love to actually produce bananas eventually if possible!

Can it be saved?

It rained last night, that's why the soil is soaked. I brought it in and put it under a grow light. Roots are very small. What can I do so it doesn't die?

Soil is cactus soil for good drainage.

Zone 6b - it's been warm enough to have it outside.

My other banana tree is happy.
