Broken in A2000 1799 that I posted a few days ago, ready to game for slopitch this week.
Used water treatment, mallet work and a heavy ball and it turned out great. Wearing two in the pinky.

Spent my Sunday bringing this 1786 back from the dead. Everybody say welcome back 1786
Looking at Rawlings' bestsellers, they're mostly full blond gloves, but they're R2G. I've found tons of models that are no longer being made and many people want, but it feels impossible to find something like the 12.25 Kris Bryant or 13 Bryce Harper in non-R2G.
If these sell so well, why do they make so many unicorn vomit colorways?
Can't seem to find anything online about this glove. Any info would be appreciated!
I'm a college baseball pitcher looking for a lefty pitchers glove in the $200-$400 range (ideally around $300). I definitely want a deep pocket to avoid tipping pitches, I was looking at the monochrome black rawlings HOH but can't find it anywhere in stock. I definitely prefer simple, clean looking gloves so probably will end up going with Rawlings Heart of the Hide 12" Pitcher's Glove: RPROT206-9B in black or the x12 Inch Mizuno Pro Select Adult Pitcher Baseball Glove - Black but would appreciate any insight or advice as to where else I should be looking. Thanks!
Happy 5th to all who celebrate. Beautiful Grace stock catchers glove waiting on my doorstep coming home from vacation. My brother in law (former 18u Team Australia catcher) put it on for 10 seconds and said “how do I get one?” 😂😂
Just bought this. Seller says it's new old stock. It does look perfect. From my basic research, it does not seem Wilson re-released this glove. Is it a legit original. Almost too good to be true. What say you?
Got in Japan, already have an A2K, got it for 400 could sell it for 750
Need some guidance on getting these out.
I know they are just cosmetic, but I would like to try to clean them up a bit.
A couple more gloves came in today.
Wilson “The Outsider” A2834 $20
Rawling HOH Pro112SC $115
No idea on the age of these…assuming the Wilson is pretty old, but the condition is remarkable. Both got cleaned up a bit and Sarna throughout. This is my first HOH. A couple recently acquired GG Elite are probably my next nicest. The feel is really nice and it fits my hand perfectly. Thanks for looking.
I'm going to make the argument that The Rawlings Trapeze Black in 12.75" in Heart of the Hide and Pro Preferred is the most iconic glove ever made. The argument is simple. Three of the mostly recklessly amazing outfielders wore it.
Bo Jackson
Ken Griffey Jr.
Mike Trout
These three probably all cut their careers short by just playing too intensely. They fearlessly risked their bodies to make incredible plays. They were all 215-235lbs of muscle on 6'1"+ frames and basically wrecking balls. And they all chose the black 12.75" trapeze as their main weapon in the outfield.
That's my "argument" but it's really just my biased opinion. What other models carry these stories for others?
Wilson A2000 1975SS 11.75” Banner (2024) & Rawlings Pro Preferred PROS3039-HB for this glorious holiday.
Hope everyone still has all their fingers to be able to continue enjoying this great hobby of ours.
Hello!
Looking to buy a Rawlings Heart of the Hide Japanese offerings that came out…. Recently..? Not sure about the timeline, sorry…
Specifically looking for a glove like the one in this post:

Pics related, exactly “stolen” from that post.
I did try to reach out to that user over DM, but no response after a couple days, so thought I’d try my luck here.
I don’t know why I can’t shake that specific one, but figured why fight it. The combination of the leather color, webbing style and the red/white/blue tag just keep me looking at it.
I’ve seen a couple still exist on eBay, but they’re the “rubber ball” variants. Despite the comments on those listings saying they’re viable for Baseball, especially considering it’ll just be a dad glove I use to play with my kid, I figured I’d look for the “GH” variant first.
Have PayPal
I don’t have anything to trade unfortunately.. so I’d be cash only.
Thanks for your consideration!
I recently built a glove on the Memorial Day sale about 6 weeks ago and just received my custom glove. Can't wait to start the break in process. I didn't go with the paid break in and I have read in other posts the laces tend to run so going to test it on the coffee laces before trying Yumomi style.
This is going to be my first season being an assistant coach on my daughter's 6u softball team and looking forward to this going the distance along our journey!
I am initially impressed with the quality and construction of the glove. This thing is a tank! It was also a blast using the design tool to build it. I'll make another post here soon to show how the break in process has gone.
This was not a paid advertisement from Grace r/vjarizpe 😂
I’m tired of hauling around multiple gloves to play/coach baseball and softball. So I bought the only glove I thought was appropriate for both…for science.
I cleaned, dyed, conditioned, and re-laced it. I’ll let you know how it goes. For science.
So my son started little league this year. The last time I owned a glove I was his age. I would like to get a glove, but the only purpose is to play catch with my boy so I don't want to go crazy. Any recommendations for reasonable priced adult gloves?
Two beautiful gloves (and a bat) done up in my favorite colorway, with my favorite flag. I hope everyone on this thread has a wonderful and safe Independence Day. Let freedom ring! 🇺🇸
Ive read that 12.5 is ideal for middle infield and 13 might be a bit big, but it's quite a bit cheaper. How would that size fare?
Tear beside the webbing has started to get bigger. Glove has put in the work over the years but not looking to pull the trigger on a new one if it isn’t necessary.
