Found this glove and AI started out telling me it was a Rawlings made for Japanese hardball “Koushiki” and then moved on to it’s a high quality Japanese boutique glove and is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 or more.
As long as condition is pretty usable I am ok with it. Price range is approximately 200-250. If anyone is willing to sell dm me! Also I know its a long shot but if anyone has the rawlings r9 kb17 im ok with that too.
Broke this one in about a year ago and was never 100% happy with the shape. I had recently done what I thought was the same Mizuno Pro, so I kept trying to force a similar shape on her.
It looked great, but something felt off. Finally realized this pattern wanted a wider heel and shallower pocket, much closer to a TT2.
Japanese Mizuno Pros don’t have the pattern stamped on them, so sometimes you’re guessing what you’re working with.
Anyway I stopped fighting the glove and let the pattern tell me what she wanted. Every glove I break in teaches me something new!
Now it’s right.
