VOO+ QQQM+ AVMV+ AVUV+ VXUS

My portfolio currently has VOO-20%, QQQM-15%, AVMV-10%, AVUV-15%, VXUS-10%, Sectoral Satellite ETFs-30%. VOO and QQQM were my two early pick then I wanted cover mid and small cap ETFs as well, so added the value ETF AVMV and AVUV, and for international exposure I have added VXUS. I do keep a small percentage of different sectoral Satellite ETFs. I am in my early 30s and still have plenty of time, but I am very new to investing. Does this portfolio make sense, or have I overly diversified my portfolio. I feel the percentage allocation could be better, giving more weightage to VOO. All suggestion are welcomed, I am in my learning!! I don't have satellite ETFs yet but they would be in these sectors AI, space, defense, metals and energy; and biotech.

EDIT: most of the suggestions were to reduce the allocation of 30% to the thematic ETF.

Which ETF to invest in?

Hey guys, I’m 28 and have 100k I want to put into an ETF, I know I’m young and should probably take some risks with the stock market but I also know absolutely nothing about any of that so I’d feel more comfortable putting it into an ETF.

I’m just curious which one yall would all in on? I was looking into VOO and it has a good ROI. I’d plan on also putting in 4000-4500/month into it every month. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks guys!

Edit; Sorry I meant to say I plan on not touching any of the money till closer to when I retire so hopefully 50 if I’m still kicking.

What ETFs are you buying in 2026? Looking to diversify beyond SEC0

I’m currently investing $1,000 every month into SEC0 and that’s my only ETF at the moment.
I’m happy with its performance, but I’m starting to wonder whether I should diversify a bit instead of putting everything into a single ETF.
What ETFs are you currently buying, and why?

38 and really new to all this. What to pair with VOO?

The title says it. I'm 38 and just got started into ETF's (I know I'm late to the game and wanted to invest for years but didn't know where to start).

Anyways, I currently have a retirement at my job with around $160k and I have a solid savings. Last month I started throwing extra money in VOO which I have it up to $2k. I'm not looking to get rich quick I'm more looking to add to future wealth.

I've tried doing some reading around and I've read about people doubling down on tech and paring VOO with QQM. Then I've read about pairing VOO with VXUS for more international exposure.

I know what I have isn't much but I wanted to get my feet wet with my extra cash and not touching my savings.

I'm just looking for advice for my next step and I am adding more money to VOO every othe week when I get paid to get built up.

iSHARES MSCI WORLD ETF (URTH)

chart by r/PierresLongTermCharts

This ETF is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

It tracks a whole lot of shares, worldwide.

Change your timeframe to a weekly one. And then use candlesticks, rather than a line chart.

Add a blue 30 week simple moving average.

And if you looking for a strategy, you could maybe try the following:

Only buy if the price is ABOVE the blue 30 sma, which must be flat or rising.

And then buy when the RSI-14 seen below, crosses upwards, through 60.

It must first fall below 60.

But not lower than 40 of course.

Then you can hold the investment, while its above the sma.

Should it fall under the blue sma, watch for a dip under 40 on the RSI, and mark the offending candle, with a line, at the low for that week.

If the price closes under the line the following week its time to exit.

Otherwise you just hold.

Can you see what I mean?

The price rises at a very rough 17% per annum.

Its a bit overbought right now, so maybe wait a bit.
