Which Discord client would you recommend?

I'd like to try out a mobile client. On my computer, I use Equicord (because of its extensive customization options). Can you recommend a client for my phone ? I've heard good things about Revenge, VendroidEnhanced, and ShiggyCord. Based on your experience, which one would you recommend (It doesn't necessarily have to be one of these three. If you have a favorite lesser-known client, share it here)?

What's important to me?

Will iget banned for ONLY and i mean ONLY using VideoCompressor plugin?

I NEEEEEEEEEEEED this plugin for my discord man i need it or uh, can i get banned for like getting a fake nitro plugin that lets me bypass this restriction? I just wanna be able to send videos man

I made an auto patcher for Vencord!

Vencord doesn't stay patched when Discord updates. That's been annoying me for a while (and probably some of y'all too), so I made an auto patcher!

The auto patcher checks for Discord updates and patches Discord with Vencord as soon as it does. As a bonus, you can install Vencord without any user interaction if you don't want to use the auto patcher!

Works on Windows and macOS :)
Simply download and run INSTALLER.exe / INSTALLER from the latest release, or install from source!

ByeBlocked: repository moved to a new GitHub profile

Update: ByeBlocked repository / username change

Hey, sorry for posting again. I just wanted to leave a quick update about ByeBlocked.

I've recently changed my username/profile, so the GitHub repository has also moved to the new profile.

New repository: https://github.com/StayedBehind/ByeBlocked

The repository itself has not been deleted or abandoned. It's still the same project, with the same history and releases.

I only changed my username, so if anyone here was using ByeBlocked and noticed that the old repository/profile was gone, that's why.

Just wanted to leave this here so nobody thinks the project disappeared. :)

Created an advanced GIF Folder plugin

I recently created a really advanced GIF Folder plugin because of how frustrating and barebones the native discord "GIF" button is.

- With my plugin you have multiple folders with multiple gifs,
- You can move the gifs around in each folder by hold-clicking on a gif
- You can move them to the start or end of the folder (for having favorites within favorites)
- You can rename them to then search them in the search bar to find them instantly
- You can cache them so they open almost instantly (no more gifs not loading anymore)
- You can export them via .json or full export them on disk for backup
- You can save any .gif file or .mp4 file (20mb limit) or image file in the folders to then use later.
- You can HOLD CTRL+CLICK on a gif to send it without quitting the folder, so you can send multiple gifs in quick succession.

I am thinking of more things to add, like native giphy support, to find gifs from there to save straight to your own folders. (SHIFT+CLICK and ALT+CLICK are also supported)

But the problem? I vibecoded this, so it's not allowed. I want to at least show it to the world, so perhaps someone will take inspiration in how this was done to give the community something exponentially better than what discord natively delivers.

I want to make this open source once i make sure it's fully polished. It's very close to that state (like lining up all the settings in one row), but i might as well make the post now.

BetterDiscord No Longer detects Discord app (Mac Tahoe)

I installed the latest version of BD after getting hit with an update. For some reason, the installer doesn't detect my Discord app this time. I also tried downloading a fresh copy of Canary in addition to the stable Discord I've been using for a while, and it didn't detect that either. Browsing Finder for the applications also doesn't change the result. I've tried this for the Install, Repair, and Uninstall options.

Any fixes?

How do i remove BetterDiscord?

Ive been trying to reinstall vencord, but BetterDiscord is blocking it. Ive literally deleted BetterDiscord directly from my files, but its still somehow modded to my discord? How do i remove it permanently?
