This group revolutionized my vision of music at the time, with the album Alaska. Now it's one of my favorite band so I wanted to do a cover of one of their songs.
I'll start: I despise that the music video is the only complete version of The Future Is Behind Us, and that on the album it's abruptly cut off by turbulent. I wished they cut it differently, putting the synth / kick at the end of the song and then hard cutting to turbulent when the full drums come in or something.
Ok obviously we know them, but in my 19 years of listening to them I have met 2 or 3 people ( off the street ) who have heard of Between the Buried and Me. But I dare you to find a recent metal band, hardcore band, death metal, grind core what have you band that hasn't derived influence from them. Your thoughts?
I know they've done a 10 Year Tour and the Colors Experience Tour so I wouldn't blame them if they don't wanna do yet another tour playing Colors in full but what are the chances they do something for the 20 Year Anniversary next year? I know no one but the band themselves know and all but nothing wrong with some speculation
We just opened up preorders for the new Colors_LIVE pressing in Neon Green vinyl. Limited to 400 copies:
Street date is 10/30/26.
I have this shirt from a 2012-ish merch limited drop in a size medium. I have spent years looking online on and off and can’t even find proof it exists, so I don’t know what it might be worth. If I was still small I’d keep it to wear but the years start coming and truly don’t stop coming. Any advice? Offers? Opinions?
Another Pumpkins cover... Pumped!
I’m arranging a piano solo for Blue Nowhere and finally hacked away at the guitar solo today. Transcribing that many notes is always intimidating, but it went relatively quickly. It’s so satisfying to play it note for note (albeit on keys lol).
