I joined the app yesterday and i was trying to import my movies and shows from tv time, but when I chose the file i got a message that the process is complete, even though the number of imported films and movies was zero. Now i can’t do this again, because there is a green mark next to the tv time import option. What should i do? I even made a new account, but the problem is still there

Migrating from TV Time and I keep having the issue of tons and tons of my data is missing when I import them. It's very frustrating esp for a show with over 1k episodes and many fillers are skipped, I can't manually go through everything. That's also beside the missing lists I have made. Does anyone know how to fix that? Would the devs include a solution to that before we lose everything?

I have so many lists and data, I have shows where I only watched a few episodes and skipped some and the app hasn't been good at registering that. Please lmk how to fix that during the import without having to spend a lot of time on everything on itself :'

I've been trying to make an account for the past two days and every username I put gives me the error of "failed to check user availability", wtf?

So the import unfortunately skipped a lot of my shows, and for some it stopped at some early episode then stopped marking the rest. I tried going to one show that didn't sync at all and went to the last episode I watched and marked it as watched manually and I didn't even get an option to mark all previous ones. I don't watch to mark them by seasons bc I still have some seasons I skipped or episodes inside the season I'm watching that I skipped and it'd be easier to unmark these after marking everything.

Is there just no way around this? because going through everything manually would be so tiring.

Unfortunately this isn't helping motivate me to stick with this app but knowing there's a big traffic on it rn I wanted to double check what's a missing feature, a problem in programming, and what's just from the high traffic and I should wait it out.

I've also unfortunately been ignored twice now by the dev after they themselves told me to send them my username to reset my import status, they also ignore my other questions in the same message.. if anyone had a successful experience lmk or suggest whatever alternative you have please 🤍

Finally got some time to jump back into Bingeboxd after being busy working on Series Graph.

I went through all the feedback from the last post and tried to actually act on it instead of just noting it down. This update is basically a bunch of the most requested stuff rolled into one.

What’s new:

• 🎬 Movies are here — you can now track, rate, and review films alongside your shows. Add favorites, browse by genre, and customize posters/backdrops.
• 📥 Import your data — pull in your watch history from Trakt and TV Time in just a few taps.
• 📺 Full episode history — see and edit everything you’ve watched, not just current progress.
• 🧑‍🎤 People pages — cast & crew now have proper profiles with credits and roles.
• 📝 Lists got rebuilt — new editor, easier sharing, cleaner overall experience.
• ✨ UI refresh — navigation should feel smoother and less clunky overall.

Also:

• Upcoming episode/movie notifications are now free for everyone
• Rewatching is also free (no paywall)
