TV Time Alternatives r/TVTime can recommend
With TV Time users looking for a new place to track their shows and movies, I wanted to share the alternatives that I can personally recommend.
Different platforms offer different experiences. Some focus on tracking, others on statistics, discovery, or building a community around TV discussions. The best choice depends on what you are looking for.
Sofa Time
Sofa Time is appreciated by users who want a clean and simple tracking experience. Its smooth design and strong integration with the Apple ecosystem make it a great choice for people who prefer an easy way to keep track of the shows and movies they watch.
Movie Paradise
Movie Paradise offers a feature-rich experience for users who enjoy exploring their watch history and discovering new movies and shows. It provides a wide range of tools for people who want more than basic tracking.
Trakt
Trakt is one of the most established tracking platforms available. It is popular among users who value detailed statistics, powerful syncing capabilities, integrations, and connecting their viewing history across different services.
Serializd
Serializd focuses on the social side of tracking TV shows. Users can share reviews, create lists, and discuss shows with other fans, creating an experience inspired by the community aspects of Letterboxd.
Bingeboxd
Bingeboxd combines TV and movie tracking with a social community experience.
Users can import their TV Time history for free, making it easier to continue where they left off. Beyond tracking episodes and movies, Bingeboxd includes reviews, lists, comments, discussions, and features designed around discovering content through the community.
The platform is built around direct user feedback, with new features and improvements continuing to be added based on what users request.
Simkl
Simkl is a popular option for users who track different types of content, including TV shows, movies, and anime. It offers automatic syncing, detailed tracking tools, and support for users who follow a large amount of content.
Cinopsys
Cinopsys is a lightweight Android option for users who prefer a simple tracking experience. It focuses on keeping things accessible without adding unnecessary complexity.
WeTrakr
WeTrakr provides a straightforward way to track watching progress. Its minimalist approach makes it easy for users who want a simple alternative.

Note:
Some apps that were previously promoted within the TV Time community are not included here because I no longer feel comfortable recommending them. This decision is based on recent interactions and community behavior, including actions that I believe have negatively impacted the TV Time subreddit while benefiting from its visibility.
The goal of this list is to help TV Time users find alternatives they can trust and continue enjoying their tracking experience.
Edit: had to lock the thread because of the time it would take to moderate the comments.
Sorry to the genuine users asking for information. If you try these alternatives out I am sure you will find what you are looking for
If you’re into anime, I’d love a small favour 🙏
I just enabled alternate season structures for anime on the website! You can now choose the season structure you prefer when tracking shows.
I’d really appreciate some feedback before I bring this feature to the mobile apps.
