Batman: TAS ratings are lower than I expected

For context, I haven't watched this show, but I have been considering checking it out.

I've heard many times that it's one of the best animated shows ever made, but aren't these ratings pretty whatever? More than half the episodes are under 8 stars. The series as a whole is rated 9 stars, but that's higher than over 90% of its episodes.

For comparison, it averages about the same as The Boys seasons 4 and 5, which are currently getting ripped apart online for being terrible. Gravity Falls, another animated show considered one of the best of all time, only has a quarter of its episodes rated under 8 stars, and its second season has more than half of its episodes rated above 9 stars.

Why is Batman: TAS regarded so highly if a majority of its episodes are considered nothing special? Is it overrated? Or is it fair for it to be judged mostly by its best episodes?

Most episodes in season 5 were higher but since the finale is terrible they have also dropped

Rate Seasons?

I had this idea I thought could be cool. I was wondering if there could be a feature to rate seasons like you rate episodes. Right now it shows the average rating for the seasons at the bottom of the chart which I really like but I thought it might be cool if there was a settings option to change average rating to your rating. For example: My average rating for GOT season 4 is a 9.4 because that’s what all my episode ratings equal, but if I was to rate the season as a whole It would be a 10/10 because it is my favorite season of television. This change would make my overall season ratings much more accurate to how I really feel about each season as a whole. There could be a button you push in settings to change it for those who want to put their own ratings for full seasons. I just thought this could be cool so I wanted to post it here.

Regular show with a 10 on SeriesGraph. Is the show this good? Im guessing its either gonna be like a bojack or rick and morty type of show.
