For those lucky enough to be going to Olivia Rodrigo's festival, I wanted to introduce my favvvvourite artist Rachel Chinouriri, she's NEXT UP for me and is soooo underrated.
What do you think? I can recommend my favourite songs of hers <3
Farage wins the election, or at least goes into coalition with the Tories and is PM, Kemi is deputy , a shining example that Reform isn't really racist. (Which we know is bullshit).
Day 1 they implement an ICE style investment of millions into deporting people.
In the first 100 days, 1000's of black people picked up, harassed, a large number of people illegally deported, riots in the streets, far left protests , ordinary non-white folks protest.
The question, do you leave? (If you can) I've been thinking a lot about this recently, on the one hand, it seems like cowardice to leave, on the other, who needs to battling every day, is it worth fighting to remain a UK citizen in, as those fuckers say, living in a 'hostile enviroment'
I think I would, out of sheer spite, fight, my family came here in the Windrush, in honour of them, I'm staying to fight to the bitter end.
They can't deport the 2nd, 3rd generation of us, well they can try,but they got to drag me out, by my cold dead hands.
Has anyone else experienced this? When I was in university (24F black British, slim build) I’d always get called other black womens names and we looked nothing alike. I was 18-21 in uni. The girl who people always used to call me the name of was like late twenties and plus size and facially we looked nothing alike and I wear glasses and she doesn’t 🤦♀️ also people would call me the name of this older black lady in her 40s who was also plus sized (I’m just saying their weight and mine to give yall a visual of how we really did not look alike at all) and me and her looked nothing alike. Funnily that lady would always talk about how she’s light skinned etc but other people couldn’t even see a difference between us. And then at work there’s another black woman I work with who again I look nothing like but yet my white colleagues always get me and her confused. It makes no sense. Idk if some people just think all black people look the same or what is it 🤷🏾♀️. Because if I’m honest I feel like black people are the race that look the least alike as there’s so much diversity in regards to our skin tones, facial features etc 🤦♀️
