This game really pushes my buttons

Started playing a few days ago, I love the game 90% of the time but last night nearly pushed me to uninstall. I have many more clips like this from my session yesterday as well😂

This was after he had just knocked me off the bridge 2 times in a row with a simple slash🫠

Edit: yall I don’t need help with the boss I know he’s easy, I whooped him immediately after this😂 the clip is to show he missed me once I tried to parry with rock solid.

First time playing BlackMyth Wukong.

Hey folks,

Just installed BlackMyth Wukong, I have no idea about Soul like games. I have watched videos of it being too difficult, however never experienced it.

So anything I should know before starting the journey?

Wish me luck.

A very disappointing boss

Hear me out before this boss I spent days trying to defeat yellow loong, scorpionlord and duskveil, they were nightmare and I was very excited for the final boss fight of chapter 4. I entered the arena thinking he will give me a hard time but all my imagination is shattered. He was busy fighting the sister and didn't even care about me so I took down half of his health and when he was about to get into his second phase I just used the needle vessel and just like that he got defeated in my first attempt. Honestly this boss was very disappointing.

Ok Now I know that the vessel is too powerful for him but how I supposed to know that, it was my first playthrough. So basically exploring can make some of the bosses very easy because I found the secret area while exploring and after defeating the venom daoist second time.

Yaksha King

Hello guys! I’m very new to soulslike games and Black Myth: Wukong is my very first. I would just like to say that I recently beat Yaksha King on my 3rd try without any medicines. However, my PC almost died whenever I fought him (or Red Boy) near the arch in that arena. Any tips to progress smoothly on Chapter 6? This is my 2nd month playing the game and I only play on Sundays for about 5 hours max.

My friend has never played a Soulslike before, and he’s absolutely destroying Black Myth: Wukong

I’m genuinely impressed by my friend’s progress in Black Myth: Wukong. He had never played a Soulslike game before. In fact, he mostly played story games with keyboard and mouse, and he’d never even used a controller before.

I honestly thought this game was going to give him hell. I was expecting him to quit at the Wandering Wight that giant baby 💀 or maybe the Whiteclad Noble.

I convinced him to buy the game, and then we got on Discord. He streamed his gameplay while I just guided him whenever he needed help.
That’s literally it.

He played around 3 hours a day for 2 days and somehow finished the entire Chapter 1, including the secret area. 😭

And the craziest part was the Whiteclad Noble. I literally only told him to charge up his staff and go for the attack. He tried maybe 9–11 times, and then suddenly:
BOOM. HE BEAT HIM**.**

I was genuinely shocked. 😂
For someone who has never played a Soulslike and had never touched a controller before, his ability to adapt is actually insane. I thought I’d be carrying him through the whole game, but bro is learning ridiculously fast.
Now I’m actually curious how far he’s going to make it on his own. 😭

What gear do I need?

Mantled with Might quest

Can someone help me with what more I need in order to get the quest?
I know I'm missing the armguard from chapter 4, but is there more than that and how?

Is the freeze time ability broadly discouraged in the same way as summons in Souls games or does everyone more or less use it?

I'm new, still on chapter 1. I feel like this ability makes boss battles in this so much easier and not necessarily in a good way.

Still super early in the game

I'm having a real hard time getting past Wandering Wight and the other boss after him. I don't understand why I can't immobilize him and then shortly after transform into Red Tides. I have to pick either one or the other. I've seen videos online of people doing it though. What am I missing?

Any tips on how to beat either of these fools would be most appreciated. I can get Wandering down pretty low and then I run out of stamina and get wrecked.

1st time playing

So I started playing Wukong last week on Friday and it’s been a really fun game, I literally just beat Erlang not even 20 minutes ago. Cause of this game I’m probably gonna buy all the DS games and Elden ring 😂

Duskveil 3 Days of Anguish. Chapter 5 One day Done ! Now Supreme is giving me the Duskveil treamtment. HELPPPP MEEEE !!

Let me say this so I don't get beat up in the comments. This is very first game like this EVER. I've been a fighting game player all of my life. I love Kung Fu Movies ( I grew up on them) , and till this day I collect them so soon as I went new genre hunting Wu Kong was an easy choice. I had NO IDEA what I signed up for. I'm old enough to say we went to the movies to see Kung Fu movies on Sat growing up. Yes I'm ancient lol

This is my first walk thru so here goes HELLLLPPP me. Duskveil gave me nightmares for 3 days this past weekend. Finally got it done. Took one day off, and went to Chapter 5 last night. Ran thru it all including secret bosses, and side quest.Lost to bosses around 3 times a fight. Now I'm at SUPREME, and I have tried every build known to man. I upgraded my Pilgrim set maxed out. I then upgraded the Yaksha build. Im holding out on the Bulls King for next run to get the entire set at once.

Any who I have tried every build I could find. My personal use is smash stance. I have sparks out stamina, martial arts, pluck, cloud ect. I have the mana and all upgraded, and he is beating me senseless. HELP MEEE. What am I missing ? Also he keeps glitching out on me. He goes to the water, and I have to start over. What is that about ? I'm talking all suggestions. At my age I can't do another 3 days of anguish fighting the same boss. I'm all ears. HELPPPP MEEEE !!

Should I get this game?

Title. I’m wondering if this game is worth it on sale for $49 (deluxe edition.) seems very cool and I’m into RPGs but have never ever touched a soulslike game before, I barely even know what they are. I’m very tempted. Let me know.

The Destined One (Me) complementing life after getting beaten by Erlang for the 100th time

I’ve actually beaten him a few times but I’m on NG+3 and the damage he puts out is INSANE. Sometimes one hit and it’s GG

I freaking love playing against him tho he pisses me off but the joy of beating him is so dope
