Is Wukongs a good entrance point to souls-likes?

usually i dont play souls-likes, but lately ive been thinking about starting, and i really like the journey to the west mythology and i heard Wukong is quite easy for a souls-like so it may be a good start, what do you guys think? (plus i rarely spend big money on games because im broke... so if i play a game it must be good... so yeah help me, guys)

Do you think this game has adaptive learning?

I bought this game when it released on PC, got to chapter 6 and had to leave for 8 months for work and sold my PC before leaving. Back now and booted up the PS5, and purchased BMW. I remember the Tiger boss whooping my ass for 2 days straight of learning his mechanics then I finally beat him. Yesterday I beat him the first time and it felt stupid easy. As well as 2 of the Lonngs. (I hadn’t got to yellow lonng yet, but I’m in chapter 4 currently farming spiders for sparks).

Do y’all think the first boss fight usually is easier then the game cranks up the real

How to beat erlang???

I’ve already finished great sages broken vessel but found out that to get the true ending I need to beat erlang before great sage but he’s whooping my ass on his third phase. How do I finish him?

I have been humbled.

I don't play this type of games so it was all new to me. I breezed through every boss until this guy in a way that even made me think that I got it, only to realize miserably that I ain't got a damn thing.

How to do this? I’m in ng+ but I don’t know how to do this move.

When I press heavy attack, mine does a different slam.

i got about 78 sparks and all that. i’m just very confused on what build to use that would help me in the entirety of chapter 4.

Locked True Ending (Why??)

I'm playing NG+ and have defeated Erlang prior to facing Stone Monkey/Great Sage. Having defeated Erlang I've gone back to Mount Huaguo, I'm certain I've defeated all requisite enemies, go to the area where Jingubang is, but the Return Shrine doesn't appear, Zhu Baje doesn't appear, no cutscene. Its like I'm completely stuck.

Does anyone have any advice? Might I have forgotten anything?

Holy sh*t I actually did it, secrets and all

I stated in a previous post that I don’t play these type of games. Hell, I couldn’t even get past the first boss in Sekiro. I ended up buying this without knowing what it was, it just looked cool from the previews. After so much time and pain, kicking and screaming I actually beat it. Not just the story, but I did every secret area, every boss and got the secret ending. It was honestly fulfilling to not only experience the game but to actually enjoy it and finish it properly rather than going through the motions. Don’t know if I’ll do a NG+ to save myself an aneurism, but now I’m wanting to go back and replay Sekiro (if it’s anything like this). 10/10

how to defeat this white guy?

apolozies , i dont remember the name of this white guy,

already tried 8-10 times now, no matter what i do , this guy is just too fast in his attacks , going away from him also doesnt help.

after attack our character take ages to recover .

i dont know what to do at this point, getting close to drop the game itself

Regarding rewards in ng+

Started my first ng+ run today

And got awakening wine worms in chapter 1 and 2 again

I wanted to ask what kind of rewards do we get for completing ng+ again?

Do we get gold threads and celestial ribbons again??

Can I go back to older chapters ?

Hi,

I've been enjoying the game but I've been quite disappointed with how the game doesn't ask me if I want to proceed until the next chapter. I was in chapter 2, beat the giant rat with a buddha head and...now I'm in chapter 3. I still had stuff to do in ch.2 and I naively thought that this was a secondary boss given how isolated the area was. Will I be able to go back to the desert?

Thanks

One of my favorite controller mods so far

Was replaying Black Myth: Wukong and kept thinking how insane the art style looks… ended up spending my whole weekend turning that vibe into a DualSense controller instead
