Wake-up inputs
Hey yall. Been playing BBCF since around June/July and I've been having a fairly good time with the game. There are a bunch of things that still irk me that I'm trying to not get me down but one thing that I'm consistently confused about is wakeup inputs. No matter what I do, it feels like DPs or supers are allowed only when the gods deem it so. It sucks that there seems to not be many resources to explain these things for newer players.
I've looked on the dustloop, yt, and this reddit for help with it but most people say that it isn't that hard of a timing/buffer is fairly large/etc. and I don't know it makes the struggle feel even harder since there's nothing that can break it down for me it seems.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Ranking every BlazBlue vocal opening: My glorious king Iconoclast gets S. Where does Pandora Tears rank?
Very good opening here. Not quite as good as Iconoclast, but fits the unique vibe CS1's opening goes for.
Rules:
- Only one opening is getting Azure, and that's pretty much it.
- L.A. vocal versions are not being considered for the tier list. (Feel free to mention them if you like tho)
- The remixes of each character from Continuum Shift and prior themes will be counted separately.

Hear me out... Anarchy Reigns style Blazblue brawler
They've done fighters and roguelike beat-em-ups, why not have the next spinoff be a 3D brawler ala Anarchy Reigns style. Light attacks, heavy attacks, drives, distortions, giant bosses (Like the giant Tager Kokonoe uses in some of her moveset), large scale fights etc
Figured I'd post it here as it's an idea I've had rattling in my head for a bit now.

Ranking every Blazblue character portrait: 11+13 both land in S, Where does 12 rank?
Not shocked at all those two got as high as the did, but Tao still sits at Azure. Can the third member of the Blue Eyes do what her sisters in arms couldn't? Is Mu's Continuum Shift portrait that good?

Only one portrait per game can reach Azure tier.

BBCF Online Beginners Bracket
Hey all, we're the Salt Grinder! A variety fighting game tournament series. We started with BBCF and now we're back!
So on October 17th at 3 PM EST / 12 PM PST we are having our second BlazBlue: Central Fiction Beginners Bracket at our Raskol Discord! Further information and announcements about this and other events will be on this Discord, so if you're interested pull up!
In the lead up to the event, we're going to all try to learn some more of the game to put on a good show! So even if you aren't interested in playing in the tournament, you can run some sets with us. I hope to see you there!
