Looking for RPG Blerds who want to Learn/ Play Mage the Ascension!
Hi all,
I have been seeing a lot of posts (mostly on threads) from Blackfolk that want to learn how to play RPGs mostly DnD. So I wanted to make an all black table on Discord to teach people one of my favorite RPGS- Mage: The Ascension. It is a modern setting where players are mages that bend and occasionally break reality. The magick system is amazing and goes deeper than just spending manna and casting a spell.
If you want to try I'm doing one session on Tuesday 7/7 at 12:30 EDT and another on 7/9 at 7:00 EDT on Discord.

ISO: Paranormal/Supernatural/Fantasy titles WITHOUT a sneak-attack love story.
That's the post really lol. I'm sick of picking up the book that has a good synopsis without any reference to a romance and next thing you know I'm 3 chapters in to a love story I don't love but can't extract myself from: A'la trainwreck
No black characters written by D'white and his fellow authors please.

Cosplayer / Content Creator Highlight: Eze Nwamaka Crystal (Cryschans Cosmos)
Eze Nwamaka Crystal also known as Cryschans Cosmos is a Nigerian anime lover, cosplayer, prop maker, costume designer, and the CEO of crys.chans.colors.
She is a big nerd who's content mainly focuses on cosplay and humor
Unfortunately like many black cosplayers she faces racism in her comment section and like many female cosplayers she also faces body shaming in her comment section.
She seems to be staying strong ignoring the negativity. I hope as she grows she always has more positivity and support than hate and is treated better than Ashley (@squidkid1111) may she rest in peace

Lalovavi - Afro-futuristic Opera in Cincinnati
The Cincinnati Opera is producing an annual series of Black centered Operas. The first up this summer is an original opera, Lalovavi. Set in Atlas(Atlanta 500 years in the future) where a genetic caste society has evolved. One girl seeks to rebel against the caste system which means defying her father, the ruler of the city. "Lalovavi" means love in the Tut Black American Language.
