25 days until Blizzcon....
25 days until Blizzcon, 25 days until people lose their mind on what they will see.
I won't be surprised if Grand Theft Auto 6 gets delayed again.
25 days until everyone buys a new computer to play the latest and the greatest from Blizzard.
25 days until StarCraft shooter reveal.
25 days until all those September games get postponed to 2027.
25 days until you call out for work for a whole month.
The state of blizzard customer service has gone down hill.
Somewhere around the tail end of Dragonflight I moved over to FFXIV as my main game. I would pop back over on occasion to get 3k io in M+. I didn't buy Midnight on release but have been following it a little bit. Recently got excited about M+ again from some recent Tettles videos and so I went ahead and purchased the game on my NA account.
Some additional information, I recently moved to Europe. I was trying to play on my NA account from EU and getting pretty significant lag and realized it wasn't going to work out. I submitted a request to have it refunded so I could repurchase on my EU account and was told I am outside of the refund criteria somehow and they won't be able to help.
Short of disputing the charge on my credit card, anyone know any other better options? I remember when it was exciting to message a GM =/
edit: I don't think this breaks rule 9, im not asking for technical support. Moreso trying to figure out what everyone else thinks I should do.
** update -- after multiple back and forth they agreed to refund the purchase. The reason they gave me as to why they couldn't refund it initially was because I purchased the highest tier which came with gametime and I played for an hour or so.
In terms of lore, world-building, setting, which universe would you preferred? Starcraft or Diablo?
.
Age Verification
I live in the UK and just received notification from Blizzard that I'll need to verify my age "in order to access certain battle dot net and in game features in the future due to UK legislation".
On my 22 year old account.
I'm be ticked off if I wasn't so amused.
I barely play nowadays, and in the unlikely event I'm stopped from doing something vitally important to me when I do next dip into a game I'll consider it, otherwise, nope.

Has anyone gotten Blizzard’s Protected Character Profile endpoint working on MoP Classic? Retail works, Classic returns 403
I’m working with Blizzard’s Battle.net WoW Profile API and I’m trying to determine whether the Protected Character Profile Summary is currently functional for MoP Classic.
I’ve narrowed it down pretty hard and I’m getting a consistent Retail/Classic split.
OAuth:
* Authorization Code flow * `wow.profile` scope * token introspection shows `ROLE_USER` * `IS_AUTHENTICATED_FULLY`
Using the same OAuth client and same freshly issued user token:
**Retail**
* public Character Profile Summary → `200` * `/profile/user/wow?namespace=profile-us` → `200` * Blizzard returns a `protected_character.href` * calling that exact Blizzard-provided href → `200`
**MoP Classic**
* public Character Profile Summary → `200` * `/profile/user/wow?namespace=profile-classic-us` → `200` * Blizzard returns a `protected_character.href` * calling that exact Blizzard-provided href → `403 BLZWEBAPI00000403 Forbidden`
The Classic URL is the exact `protected_character.href` returned by Blizzard’s Account Profile response. I’m deliberately not reconstructing the endpoint manually since I went over the 2025 bug thread and saw that had already been ruled out.
I also generated a completely fresh Authorization Code token and repeated the Classic test with the same result.
So at this point the same auth setup successfully completes the protected-character flow on Retail, while the equivalent Classic endpoint fails.
**Has anyone actually gotten a** `200` **from Protected Character Profile Summary on MoP Classic or another current Classic progression flavor?**
If so, I’d especially like to know:
* which namespace/flavor worked * whether you used anything beyond normal Authorization Code + `wow.profile` * whether there’s an undocumented Classic-specific requirement
Also, if this has already been figured out in the Blizzard API Community Discord, I’d greatly appreciate any info from that.
I’m specifically looking for a confirmed working example if one exists, since the identical client/token works against Retail protected-character.
Also, if anyone knows of any Blizzard API-team reply, update, or communication about this more recent than December 2025, I’d appreciate a link. That’s the newest official communication I’ve been able to find. You’d think there’d be *some* amount of community engagement beyond “we’re sorry we’ve been gone, we’ll work on it” with no follow-up..
Battle.net store US and EU - prices
Hi,
I live in Poland, but I see that prices for the US market are slightly lower if I just change the region of the store. Can I buy such games with no risk of getting banned?
Thanks.
World of Warcraft on Switch 2
Blizzard with Final Fantasy online being on switch 2, there is no reason for WOW not to come onto the switch! Don't sleep on this Blizzard!
What happened
Calling customer support a “courtesy” when people are paying for service and then locking the thread. There is a new meaning to WoW. Would be great to have some customer service return.
