Fun, challenging or unique ways to play?

So I did just finally get my first 100 percent, and on Hard too. I never did it on Standard difficulty. But I was wondering what are some cool and different ways to play Bloodstained? It could be from good seeds in randomizer, or anything else really. I still want to play but would like to try other methods. There was one thing I saw a person mention in the Castlevania Reddit group about how they play SOTN by picking up and using the last weapon dropped from an enemy. That seems interesting, but I'd like to hear others suggestions. Thanks everyone.

100 percent map

I recently stumbled upon a 100 percent map as I was looking to fill the map on my Hard mode run. But anyways, this map also highlights in orange the areas which are secret. Would it be possible we could get a mod to have this as a sticky topic? I just say this because we get quite a bit of people looking for those last spots to get 100 percent it seems every 1-2 days.

May the Tomes of History celebrate the good deeds of imperfect beings in search of liberty.

What am I doing wrong? Can't beat the last 2 boss fights and I just want this game to end.

Ive tried for almost 3 hours to beat the last 2 boss fights and its frankly ruined this game for me. This is my loadout, what am I doing wrong?

Before anyone says anything, yes I know there the standstill charm. But I just want to be done with this game and not do any more side quests or extra backtracking.

After many years of on and off. I finally beat the game!

Just going to say it. I had to use Durandal for the final boss along with other buffs to deal more damage. I wanted to use Blue Rose but was doing less damage, yes I could have taken my time with the boss but I was at climax so it's now or cliff hanger.

One thing I dont get on true ending, is zangetsu alive since the katana is gone and what about O.D. if he's dead or bound by the castle.

Either way, im happy to finally beat this game and I love Miriam so much!! Can't wait for Scarlet engagement when that gets an official date.

Just received my PC Backer edition this morning

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed by the quality of the final product, especially considering the fact that we waited so long for it.

The whole thing feels very cheap, maybe it's my mistake for expecting something a bit more premium than this.

I did not have the chance to read the Blu-ray to see what's inside tho, maybe there's something more to it, who knows.

I really would like to have my fellow backers' opinion on it, what do you guys think now that you have it in your hands ?

When the Scarlet Engagement team questions the quality of their work... Sword being drawn → Unacceptable! Sword being sheathed → Wonderful!

IGA posted this today and it made me think of a meme that can be used for Miriam.
Half exposed weapon: could mean the weapon is being drawn, or could be putting it away.

I need more games where we take the enemies' abilities

It's one of my favourite things about Bloodstained and honestly what makes it my favourite game. I also really liked this in Infamous(unitonically I feel the closest thing we got to that in the past few years was Forspoken) and what I loved about SF6 was that learning from the different fighter reminded me of MK Deception. And on the topic of PS2 Era looking at Musashi Samurai Legend I loved copying enemies abilities and how I had to work for it getting him to counter with the move he is learning from his enemies.

Please let me know about other games of this nature

Game freezes after beating the final boss and opens login to Epic Games in the background

Am i the only one who's that happening to? I don't have an Epic account and that seems to be the only occasion when it happens.

I am confused...

Just beat Curse of the Moon, Miriam is so overpowered

Title. Just finished Curse of the Moon, short game took me 4 hours to beat the base game. I enjoyed playing it but I can’t help but talk about how overpowered Miriam is. What made me get this game was because it’s a successor to Castlevania which is a franchise I enjoy, and Miriam being the reincarnation of Richter from Rondo of Blood was very nice. It’s not even the fact that she has a whip for most range, it’s the fact that she has the highest jump that puts her over the edge in my eyes. Very rarely did I think to myself that I want to use Zangetsu or Alfred. I did use a lot of Gebel because his attacks are very useful and because he can farm potions from candles if I don’t want to switch weapons. It also doesn’t help that she has the second highest hp out of everyone in the party besides Zangetsu. Between the whip for range, extra jump height, a slide for tunnels, she is incredibly OP in the game.
