Hi,
we’re four guys, and we’ve put together Westminster’s restaurant scene in an app called Vota. The concept is simple: you see two places side by side (for example Famille vs. Kachina Southwestern Grill), you choose the place you’d rather go to, and the ranking updates instantly. The more people vote, the more accurate the list gets over time. There are still a few duplicates here and there, but I’m continuously cleaning up the data.

P.S. I’m not from Westminster (I live in Gothenburg). I’m not collecting data, not selling anything, and the app does not use AI-generated content. I’m posting in a few different subreddits because we now support more regions, and I genuinely want honest feedback from people who actually know the area.

Grünes Fixie vor dem Stadthaus gestohlen

Hallo zusammen,

mir wurde heute mein grünes Fixie gestohlen, als ich im Stadthaus war.

Ich habe das Fahrrad um 16.50 Uhr an den Fahrradstellplätzen unterhalb des Stadthauses abgeschlossen - das sind die Stellplätze am Elisabeth-Selbert-Platz, gegenüber vom Kiosk Ecke Maxstraße / Breite Straße.

Ich war um 17.15 Uhr wieder zurück und das Fahrrad war mitsamt dem Abus Zahlenschlosses weg. Gegenüber am Kiosk hat leider niemand etwas gesehen.

Das Fixie ist mit seiner knallgrünen Farbe sehr auffällig. Das Modell heißt Fixie Inc. Floater. Auf dem Fixie befinden sich am Unterrohr ein Sticker mit dem Logo der Critical Mass und seitlich am Oberrohr ein weiterer Sticker mit der Aufschrift „Ein Auto weniger“, s. auch die Fotos.

Ich würde mich über jeden Hinweis freuen, falls jemand etwas gesehen hat oder ihm/ihr das Fahrrad aufgefallen ist. Das Rad hat einen großen persönlichen Wert für mich! Vielen Dank im Voraus!

HELP Ausländerbehörde Bonn, getting an Appointment for Aufenthaltstitel

Hello everyone.

My brother and his girlfriend just moved to Bonn to do a 2 year masters program. As brazilian citizens they entered germany visa-free and have 90 days to apply for a residence permit.

They arrived on the 22nd of September and registered in the city on the 29th, the Ausländerbehörde said appointments are only possible after registration and since then, there are currently NO APPOINTMENTS available, we've been checking every day but absolutely nothing comes up. We already tried calling for hours from 8am on and literally no one EVER picks up, we've sent e-mails, we filled up their online form, and quite honestly i know for a fact NONE of that works. I'm already a german citizen, but back at the time when I had to renew my Aufenthaltstitel at the Ausländerbehörde I usually showed up 5am and always got an appointment on spot. I know that now they have moved to a new building and on their website they say "there's no need for queuing up early in the morning we have a Info desk that opens at 07:30 am” but just for “emergencies”

My question is: Is it still possible to show up 5am and queue up and get an appointment on

If not,

What would you recommend we do? It's quite desperating to be honest because they have no possibility of getting a nebenjob, an apartment or traveling back home for the holidays without this stupid Aufenthaltstitel. I've seen spme ppl saying that they only had appointments for February 2027, like OMG??? Are they just supposed to be here “irregularly “ because pf their incompetence?

Suche Empfehlungen für Zahnärzte die auf Bruxismus (Zähneknirschen) spezialisiert sind

Moin Moin, wie der Titel bereits sagt, wollte ich mal fragen ob mir jemand hier Zahnärzte empfehlen kann, die ganz viel Ahnung von Zähneknirschen haben und gesetzlich Versicherte aufnehmen.

Ich liebe meine jetzige Zahnärztin, aber die nächtliche Knirschschiene und "Stress reduzieren" helfen mir leider inzwischen nicht mehr weiter. Grade wurde von ihr der Verdacht auf eine Haarlinienfraktur in einem meiner Backenzähne durch das Knirschen geäußert, den dadurch entstandenen Horroszenarien die mein Hirn sich grade ausmalt würde ich gerne gegenwirken lol
