Pioppino flask grow
This one I bumped the fruit when I was taking the photos and it broke off. Species used was Pioppino (Cyclocybe aegerita).
The flask is plastic, green on the bottom and fading to clear near the top.
Banana for scale.

Does this count as mushroom bonsai
The dark side is calling 🌀
Ok, so first try was ochra “in the bottom” (balls). I wanted the morphology of the ochras, but forgot how much oxygen they need and this proved to be a problem. I watched the overlay form and start to bruise, so I stuck it upside down, hoping to create better surface FAE. I literally almost gave up, and just like little hairs, I could see pins were forming. Despite the mycelium being blue, terrible FAE, and questionable humidity, the pins persevered and now I have this!
This was not a fruiting arrangement I had considered lmao. I love mushrooms! They do whatever TF they want and create life where I believe there may be none. Next round I am going to try to fruit out the tip with a landrace. How would you go about this to prevent side pins in the container, given its shape?
Thank you for supporting my weird creations! If you live in CO I host meet ups and I’d love to meet you/ talk shop in person!
Greetings everyone! ✌🏻
I just wanted to share my first attempt at a bonsai grow in this 15+ year old Pascal bowl I've had with me for some reason as memorabilia. I also have another project running on a chrome Vader mug and I'm trying to make it fruit but all I have gotten from it is mutants and blobs 🤷🏻♀️. I kept it all inside an unmodified shoebox and just turned the lid upside down for FAE. If you guys have any recommendations or tips and tricks for what I should've done better; I'm all open for it!
Mush love everyone! 💖✨🍄
Literally wtf is this lol 🤷🏻♀️
Have a nice day! Thanks for the inspirations!
