[Suggest a Book] Looking for books where the main character gets completely swept up in a world they never expected to enter
reddit.comWhat's one book everyone should read at least once in their lifetime?
reddit.comRecommend me any books.
The reason I'm asking is that I'm super bored and I really want to read something, so if anyone has any good books or audiobooks I could read, please recommend them to me.
Short or long books, I don't mind. Any book you think might interest me, write it down here so I can read it and give you my opinion.
I want to read seven books this summer,
so I'd love any good book recommendations.
Any recommendations with same premise
Anything be it manhwa, manga or manhua.

Hey guys! Something different here but I was wondering if anyone had any good wealth / financial books that is worth reading. Ive always wanted to expand my knowledge based on wealth but I see handfuls of people (most likely bots) recommending the same book in comments online
Any book helps, even podcasts so anything helps!

In Search of Hidden Literary Gems: Request for Book Recommendations
I stumbled across the Archipelago Books website recently, and honestly, I couldn't believe I'd gone this long without knowing it existed. It felt like finding a hidden gem. Up until now, my reading list had mostly been shaped by catalogues like Penguin Random House, Everyman's Library, and the NYRB Series. Bestsellers have never really interested me; I'm drawn to literature that's overlooked by the mainstream but stands at the highest level of craft, writers like James Joyce, William Faulkner, and Thomas Mann. On the Asian side, Kawabata and Mishima have always stayed with me. Going forward, I'd love it if you kept pointing me toward books like this: not mainstream, but exceptional and deeply literary.
[Suggest a Book] Books with morally questionable main characters?
reddit.com"Vampire" extend the legacy (books by Anne Rice now by her son) suggestion
I was watching the new interviews with a vampire, and like the revamping (pardon the pun). Mt thinking lead me all the way back through the books and lineage. to the entity Imal who delved itself into akasha the queen., then created the king. My idea is to bring (Imal) forth from the queen and propose him as a deity of the Samarian underworld guided by those ancient deities. This thought alone extends the branching of all story lines in every possible direction past and present. He's already intertwined in all the stories, because without him the is no lineage. this idea could spark another legacy series that connects into every book written in the succession.

reddit.comBook suggestion for my boyfriend (not an avid reader)
My boyfriend (23M) loves James Patterson books. He used to read a decent much in middle school, loving Percy Jackson, however he hasn't read much since high school and onwards. I love annotating books, and I want to give him an annotated book as he knows I do that for people I love. The problem is that Im not sure of what book to annotate for him. Are there any suggestions for books that have nice hooks, are meaningful, but not too "boring" for someone who isnt the most avid reader?
Edit: I would also love some books that are more inclined on the romantic side. He loves rom coms but isnt a fan of the very cliche romance books. I do think this genre is harder to work with though.
Daphne Du Maurier's Rebecca (Dark Romance Version)?
Hello! Have any of you read {Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier} or seen the Hitchcock film?
I'm basically looking for a Dark Romance book with a similar feel and characters overall:
- >!A gaslighter MMC and a shy FMC who doesn't realize at first that he's gaslighting her!<.
- Set in an old manor or haunted house (Dark Academia or Gothic vibes would work too).
- I would love it if there's plenty of smut between the MCs and either a HEA or a nontraditional HEA.
I'm not really into Mafia or Sports tropes right now, but I'm open to any recommendations at this point, hahaha. Oh, and I want it to be strictly a M-F romance.
Thanks in advance for your help!
P.S. If you haven't read the book or watch the movie, I highly recommend you to…
So don't read the spoiler, please!

reddit.comBook recommendations needed
I’m looking for books about FL getting with her brother’s best friend. Slow burning and enemies to lovers can be included too if anyone has any suggestions.
need some book recs my friends!
hi friends. i recently read the silent patient, fell in LOVE with the book, but im struggling to find my next book that grabs me like that. anyone read that book and have some more great recommendations? i’m open almost anything. i wanna widen my variety. i’ve read a lot of dark romance in my past and i want something outside of that genre. i loved the psychological thriller/mystery aspect of that book. i also used to read a lot of fantasy, but that’s lost my interest. TIA!!
