Anyone left booz for Accenture after long time?

I interviewed for a position at Booz Allen over a week ago. The interview went over time, went very well overall, and the hiring manager later replied to my thank-you email saying they enjoyed the interview and that the recruiter would be in touch "this week." The recruiter also said there were two other interviews and that they’re waiting on feedback. They originally told me they have a very fast turnaround (24-48 hours), but after following up a few days ago, I still haven't received a response. My Workday status remains "Interview," and it's now Sunday. I'm trying to gauge whether this timeline is normal and what my chances realistically look like.

Good evening, is this a deployable contract? Considering a switch from fed to BAH, but the description is pretty limited.

Anyone else get laid off today after the financial report came out?

Got hired at Booz May 2025 and got on a project that September.

Our project didn’t get funding for the next FY so come Sep 30, I’ll be back on the bench (if no other projects come up).

I live in VA and I’m just not seeing many opportunities on workday.

Anybody know how long Booz is keeping Defense sector people on the bench?

What does it take to get an interview from Booz Allen? Or is it pure luck? Every-time I apply I don’t even get a rejection just a “this job posting has closed.”

Has anyone recently and successfully negotiated a cost-of-living adjustment or salary increase to match the base average for your position, particularly if you live in a high-cost metro area?

If you’ve made this ask recently, I’d love to hear about your experience, specifically what worked and what didn’t work for you, and what the outcome was.

What is the likelyhood of returning in short resignation? Worked for 1 year and I was benched for almost 2 months.

Asked around during those 2 months but never got a job opportunity. Afraid of being let go, I started looking for another job and found it. By the time, I was ready to resign they did find something so it was too late.

New job isn’t what I except and wanted to see if its possible to join back ?

I still have my security clearance so thats not a issue.

Just a word of warning. I recently resigned from BAH. My final paycheck? They paid out the last pay period at a rate lower than my salary.

I have been applying for jobs, but almost all of them required a security clearance. I had a secret clearance when I was in the military 10 years ago, but of course it is no longer active.

Is it possible to get a job without having a clearance? Would the company sponsor me? And under what conditions?

I’m currently IC, considering switching to contracting. I came from private sector, currently GS12. Considering the TS roles at BAH in Virginia for communications specialists or public affairs.

Has anyone been in these roles? Any insights you can share (stability despite current environment, pay, hours, etc). I formerly worked in the tech sector, came to the gov/IC recently. GS12 is about 102K (about 4.8k take home after all the Fed deductions, which are bit more than private sector deductions). I could probably get my GS13 in 5 years which is 121k gross. DoD is nice in that I do 37-40 hours a week only right now.

Any insights and experiences in terms of Fed to BAH would be appreciated! What to consider, what am I not considering that should be.
