I grinded for hours trying to get all the Sandhawks in each Element and I finally did it!
Is there anyway this build could be better, all OP Level 10 with matching parts.

I have finally reached lvl 80 and wanted to play through the game again on that level as to update a lot of my guns, are there any specific guns that are worth getting more times? Something like the sandhawk which Im planning on getting in every element.
Does this have a matching Grip and Barrel? It looks like it to me but I suck at recognizing all of the parts.
Never even farmed for a toothpick or retainer before, apparently its a 2% drop chance for either effervescent to drop from a normal sand worm.
For me I like to play the game vanilla until I complete bright lights and flying city and get the heart breaker from caustic caverns then use that to get through the torgue dlc and get a corrosive kitten, both will carry me all the way past bloodwing and bunker and sawtooth couldron to arid nexus
Once I reach arid nexus I hit the Scarlett dlc to grab a corrosive pimpernaul for Saturn, a shock sandhawk for handsome jack and a Jolly Roger in every element for mobbing along with my blue class mod from hammerlock, I also pick up the uncle teddy quest for its unique pistol for the warrior (I forgot the name of it)
I keep the generally same route through tvhm and for uvhm I use an unkempt Harold, fastball and lascoux to carry me to slappy so I can farm him for my remaining levels
Why do so many mobile games have claptrap added? This is like the 4th time seeing him in a mobile game 😭

Wondering about this gun...I just spent 7 keys on grenades and class mods, and this was the second actual weapon I got. Are they just re-using a prefix on this?
Hi all, I bought borderlands 2 and a bunch of DLC when it was on sale years ago but never got around to playing it. I started playing a few days ago and I'm really kicking myself for not trying this game earlier.
Anyway, I leveled a siren to 30, and have been playing the main story line. My YouTube algorithm of course started feeding me borderlands 2 stuff and I really want to try and get the sand hawk.
I traveled to the Oasis because I have that DLC. But I don't know what the fastest way to get to the Whoops quest is. I did the first couple quests: completed a new vehicle, and doing Captain Scarlett ship.
Should I just keep playing thru the DLC story? Is there a way to just go find that quest immediately? I'll take any advice you have for a newbie.
Whites are tutorial trash. Greens are temporary upgrades as leveling. Blues are sick uniques.
Golds are legendary.
What role do purples play? From what I have observed they are amped up greens. Like for example, early in the game I realized I absolutely love certain greens I find. I’d use them over some blues even or golds cuz it felt better.
Purples usually also fit that niche.
Wanted to ask because while legendaries are sick there’s something special about dropping a purple with a good feel. Like its meant for me instead of a set unique.
Am i being crazy of confirmation biased with this or are purples just amped up greens. Its been a while and i also wanna come back to do a run where i only use greens and purples or something idk.

I've been playing BL2 for just about 2 years now and just under 1000 hours but I never saw this before. And I got 2 legendaries! So how rare is was this experience? I tried quit without saving but it never respawned.
I have seen tubby skags and tubby spiderants but never this.
Gears on my level and so are enemies yet they one shot my shield (highest size i could find) and 2-3 shot me in total. I have to slag them to even try dealing nearly as much damage back. Their shields are resistant to elemental attacks while mine aren't, their shock weapons deal insane damage to me but I don't to them.

Just to be clear, Im just wondering if the skills are more like an addition to the gameplay or if its more of a "Hey you need these to do well" kinda deal. And if so, which are the good ones?
So, for everyone who's unaware, Zer0's action skill, Decepti0n, is supposed to give a stacking bonus to Gun Damage, Melee Damage, and Critical Hit Damage. The stacking buffs are only active as long as Decepti0n is active, and firing your gun or hitting an enemy with a melee strike ends it. The Gun Damage and Melee Damage work as intended, since the Gun Damage is applied prior to the shot being fired, and the melee strike actually hitting the enemy is what ends Decepti0n, not the melee swing itself. For keen-eyed readers aware of how critical bonuses are handled by the game, you might see the problem:
Critical hits are calculated at the point of contact, but Decepti0n ends as soon as you fire the gun, meaning you don't get a critical hit bonus on your shot that ends Decepti0n (Demonite made a fun video demonstrating this, and even demonstrating that slow-moving projectiles fired BEFORE using Decepti0n, or other damage sources that can hit enemies while Decepti0n is active without ending it early get the crit bonus).
Sadly, a large part of this issue is the game's engine conflicting with the spirit of the skill. The game only starts to check for critical hit modifiers once the bullet makes contact with a critical location. And because GB wanted Decepti0n to only boost the damage of a single shot, Decepti0n's bonuses HAVE to end as soon as the shot is fired and before crit bonuses take effect...or do they?
I noticed that most mods that address this issue just remove the mention of a crit bonus from the skill description with the reason being that "it doesn't work," but would it be possible to make it so either Decepti0n (or at least the bonus damage stacks) stays active a fraction of a second after firing the shot? The worst case scenario is that guns with a high fire rate might get an extra bullet or two boosted by Decepti0n, but would that really be such a game-breaking buff? If the duration is just long enough for fast-projectile guns to get the bonus (like 2-3 frames or whatever), I think it would be plenty sufficient.
I don't know how many BL2 modders are active on this sub, but I'd be interested in hearing their thoughts, if something like this would even be doable. It would also be nice to hear from anyone who would be interested in a mod like that. It's not like Zer0 even needs a buff, but it seems like such a nice QoL feature to have for those who want it.
Ever since Garnet Anarchist uploaded his "OP 10 with no uniques" challenge run, I feel like the consensus on OP 10 has been shifting to where people think it's actually not unbalanced. It's just properly challenging.
And to those people I have to say: Stop it, get some help.
Garnet Anarchist is not representative of your average Borderlands player, or even your average hardcore Borderlands player. He's a turbo autist who plays Borderlands for a living. And even in that challenge run that gaslit you into thinking OP 10 isn't that bad, he had to cheese the tutorial boss by breaking its AI.
Im specifically referring to the part at the end where he mentions "Wall-Sphincters". Like, is that a joke im not getting or is it something that comes up in Bl3? Or is it really just a one off.
If you saw the last post my bad, I got a better video and it was moments before deathtrap finally died. The counter randomly decided it would show 4 digits so I'll count whatever the final number in the video is as what I assume to be the highest Deathtrap kill count in a single summon without help. If you can prove a higher number I'll try to beat it.
