Water, Glass & Concrete

A monochrome view of Brisbane’s skyline, where the architecture rises behind the cascading water of the South Bank precinct.

Female Brushtail in yard with pinkie

Thought I'd post. Too cute. I used to adopt, take baby bottle for Brushtails to work. I converted a large cupboard that I kept in shed. Very cheeky, climbing up my legs, over my head at 6 months. I'd leave door to enclosure open and they'd come back to visit for a little while until they were ready to leave. This one is one of the regulars but not an adopted possum.

Edit It is not a pinkie 😂

The City in the afternoon light

Fantastic light help produce great colours in your photos.

Yesterday afternoon I took a photowalk organised by local photographer and instructor Paul Ferris Of Photo Genius. It was a great afternoon spent with other amateur photographers with Paul on hand to offer tips and advice and answer questions.

Where do Brisbane painters/visual artists connect?

Does anyone know where Brisbane painters/visual artists tend to hang out or connect? 🎨 I’m looking for regular groups or communities where artists actually meet and get to know each other, rather than one-off events.
