I’m a local photographer and videographer based here in Brisbane. I’ve been wanting to shoot some fresh portfolio work around New Farm park and the Riverwalk area, it’s honestly one of my favorite spots in the city, especially around golden hour.

I’m looking for a couple who’d be up for hanging out for an hour or two while I take some relaxed, candid photos and short cinematic video clips. No awkward formal posing or anything like that just authentic, genuine moments while you guys walk around, chat, and grab a coffee or drink. I can guide along the way no sweat!

In exchange for your time, I’ll edit everything up and send over all the high-res photos and a polished short video clip for you to keep (completely free, no catch).

Hi everyone

I’m looking for some honest advice and hoping to hear from people who’ve been in a similar situation.

I graduated last year from UQ with a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, and currently have 85 points. Unfortunately, I still haven’t been able to secure a job in my field (or even closely related), which has been really discouraging. ( I have worked as a research assistant in UQ but wasn’t offered enough hours and that project is pretty much shut down now)

I wanted to ask:
Realistically, should I go for Subclass 189 with 85 points as a Chemical Engineer in QLD.

I’m also seriously considering whether I should:
Move to another state to improve my chances (for 190/491 pathways)
