New to Buc-ees

I’m living in Phoenix, AZ, for the moment. My daughter just announced that she wants to have her 10th birthday party at the grand opening of the first Buc-ees in Goodyear, AZ.

I have never heard of Buc-ees before this sudden announcement, and I’m sure my daughter learned of it from friends at school. Is Buc-ees a place that will accommodate a birthday party? Is this a normal thing?

“Coming Soon” Billboard Magnets

Been to a few Buc-ee’s now and luckily I started my billboard magnet collection (second photo) at the first location and have consistently found one that relates to each visit to each location. Being a Californian, I’m eagerly looking forward to the Goodyear, AZ location to open. In doing research, it appears they had magnets for the location a year ago at the groundbreaking that said “Coming Soon.” (First photo.) Seems that is a newer thing that they’re doing at groundbreakings (seen some photos of other locations’ groundbreaking goodie tables too, all newer locations) since there’s so many being built. Gotta say, I love the idea to generate excitement, but not loving how exclusive they are. Curious if anyone has these in their collection, the best way to get one outside of being press at the groundbreaking, and making my own pitch that they have “Grand Opening” or “Now Open” ones at the store openings for all the fervent fans that now show up. Would be a cool small way to mark the occasion with merch which is really on brand for Buc-ee’s. Surprised they haven’t done so already, both because it seems obvious and clearly they make some promo items of this type.

Sued by Buc-ees: Every mascot the Beaver claims is a copycat

Some of the lawsuits seem ridiculous while a few others are pretty close even if the animal is different. Almost seems like the background color yellow is the big thing Buc-ee's is not a fan of on other people's logos.

Do you still enjoy buccees even when there is shoulder to shoulder people inside?

Im beginning to think its not worth going to during the weekends anymore because of the crowds. Everyone is walking into each other inside the store and its hard to even get gas because of people parking their cars near the gas pumps.

Any Peanut/Nut Allergy Fans?

Hi! I was wondering if there were any Buccee fiends with peanut/tree nut/nuts gen. A new Buccees just opened up in Ohio and I really wanted to try some things out!

A lot of things I wanted to try, stated “may contain” which is usually a hit or miss. Other things say “made in facility” which is also hit or miss. I cant tell if it’s actually the case or if they’re just trying to not to get sued so they slap it on there.

For the most part I’ll avoid obvious things like bakery and the fudge of course, but I was curious has anyone with severe(ish) allergies been able to eat other things and been fine? Like the overbite chocolate caramel (what I REALLY wanted to try) , the cookie dough bites, some candy, chips, etc.

Ik it’s better to be safe than sorry, but sadly it limits my options severely so I was just curious if others gave it a shot!

To add: Ive taken my chances before with familiar brands that say “may contain” and i’m usually fine. They just started slapping that label on nearly everything now even though theres no allergy present. I wasn’t sure how Buccee’s goes about it.
