I have some questions regarding the admission -

1)Will a 2nd Selection List Come Out?

2)Will IPE (Intermediate) Students Get a Seat?

And how much time it will take 😭😭

This was my first impression of CBIT (infamous for top placements in hyd) CDC (*career development centre*) - placement cell that happend today btw

Goldman sachs summer analyst - application link was forwarded to groups and everyone was told MUST APPLY

(*same happened in May btw, today those who applied in May were addressed as common sense less students for sending double application) They just paid more emphasis on this now

1. 3 days before this started messages were forwarded in whatsapp community of different branches with no proper timeline, requirements etc

2. A day before this, they said

"People who are shortlisted and do not show up STRICT ACTION WILL BE TAKEN (- they never lie about punishments so I decided to show up)

I KNEW I HAD LOW EXPECTATIONS FROM THIS, BUT NOT AS LOW AS WHAT I EXPERIENCED 😭🥀

3. Everyone was told to assembly by 4 10 in assembly hall, but there was already a faculty seminar going on so they were reverted to 2nd floor CDC room

FORMALS + LAPTOPS + HACKER RANK APP MUST ELSE DISQUALIFIED Is what was instructed

Manual attendance of 300+ students was taken till 5

Then we sent to assembly hall and sat there for another hour, when pre placement online zoom started.

Worst case: 5-30 to 7, No transport, No food, No canteen.

This was informed

but PPT tarted at 5 30 not the test 💀

4. Everyone was randomly alloted to TPO Labs *no one to check if youre in assigned lab btw, free seating + last moment made list

5. Mobile data Hotspot is strictly not allowed.

BUT LMAO INTERNET WASNT WORKING

They apparntly tried "FIXING IT" For another 30-40 mins

Giving reasons SO DUMB:

"Your anti-virus is blocking the internet " - this was from the TECHNICAL TEAM of Hacker rank professionals btw

"WiFi firewall is blocking your laptop" - Then why tf is it in placement labs if it can't connect so many laptops?

"DO NOT CONNECT ALL AT ONCE, CONNECT WITH 1 MINUTE BREAKS" - Yeah sure 300 students 300 mins

Then they gave us 5 mins

6. GO GET YOUR MOBILES FROM BAGS YOU KEPT IN INTERVIEW ROOMS!!! FASTT ONLY 5MINS

Students who kept bags in the floor below, all of them were transferred to 3rd floor, so you dont even know where your bag was LIKE TF why did you need to do that???

7. "Everyone delete hackkerank app, we'll send you link write exam"

~ this was told first

Link was written on WHITE BOARD

it was in format CS.gs.... and how tf are we supposed to know CS is in capital???

Professional hacker rank team was just so dumb, like if the test isnt working theyre like reconnect and connect wifi again???

8. 7-8 was test window. Every laptop faced different security issues due to removing antivirus and background running apps

- Lenovo

- ASUS

- MAC

Everyone had different problems

I literally had to teach that "Professional" how to force stop background apps by system from Task manager then he went on doing the same in other laptops.

The technical team, the placement faculty were literalllyyy sooo useless...

9. They went person to person telling everyone password for the test, trying to *fix* (which was more of them calling each other) and by then it was 8 and the TEST WAS CLOSED

10. Now it was 8 20 already, they started circulating a paper to sign, You can't leave or else

At around 9 PM there were so many students outside college gate without transport how do u justify this CDC?

So only 50% could properly write the Exam

ALSO, THE SAME EXAM- AS IT IS Intial round could be written at home, like Other institute students did, but CBIT GOT WHAT IT WANTED!
