Can my Daemon Targaryen be an impostor? He can not be the Daemon i ordered. Look at his traits ffs!
I’ve seen “the faith of the sands” in a couple playthroughs of this mod online and was wondering which submod added it?
R4: My sister is my paramour and lover, yet I am not considered to be incestuous. Great success!
Playing as the Velaryons in Crowned Stag to mess around with the new sailing mechanic when suddenly everything exploded.
> Tywin attacked Mace for Coldmoat as always
> Viserys attacks, wins, sends Tywin to the Wall and disinherits poor Dany, who was his betrothed
> Chad Willas somehow got a claim on the Kingdom of the Rock and won it from Jamie, who everyone hated since his secret with Cersei was exposed and he was kicked off the KG. Certainly got revenge for Mace
> Westerlands are now ruled by Tyrion from the Banefort for some reason
> I married Dany to Aurane and started a faction for her, then suddenly Viserys dies from eating some plants
> His son with a Butterwell is King. Renly declares war for Robert's claim. Robert is stilling kicking as a landless merc
> Baby king dies from spotted fever. His sister is now queen with Robert as her heir since Dany is disinherited
I had to step in to end the war because it was going on for 12 years and no one was coming to my hunts or parties :(
Bonus - AI Ned gave Jon some land and he fell in love with some random Pentoshi pirate. They've declared for Jon's claim a couple of times but it never went anywhere and they are somehow still alive.
The Westerlands are falling apart. Edmure died in one of the many wars and now his son keeps declaring on Tyrion and getting random counties.
Sansa is married to Lancel and I am tempted to switch to the North and win back the Rock and Westerlands for their family, but Willas is just so cool here. I've never seen Lord Paramount AI take entire kingdoms.
Having heard about this mod I've decided to try modding the game. What are the most essential submods to get the most complete and polished experience with AGOT?
I'm new to the modding scene so I don't know any atm other than the main one.
The Red Keep was taken by the Blacks days after the coronation which resulted in end of the conflict without much bloodshed. After weeks of negotiations, it was decided that the will of Viserys I shall be accepted by the High Lords and the pretenders to the throne. Otto Hightower and his dynasty was banished from the realm except for Alicent Hightower. Thus, the Dance of Dragons has concluded without even starting. Queen Alicent Hightower was given two options to become a silent sister or a septa and she chose the former. Aegon II kept his claim and was named the Lord of Oldtown and the Lord of Hightower for the blood of Hightowers runs in his veins. Aemond fled to the Stormlands but after hearing the news that Boros Baratheon was sent to the Wall just like most of the Greens, he left Westeros on his dragon and now lives in Essos brooding and planning his revenge. During coronation Queen Rhaenyra managed to make peace with her brother and sister while also forgiving Alicent's betrayal. Daeron Targaryen was named the Lord Commander of the Queensguard where he proved once more that dragons are nobler than common knights of Westeros.
I played as Daemon III Blackfyre in the Fourth Blackfyre rebellion start. With the help of the Fells and Masseys I won a few battles against the Targaryens and marched on the Red Keep. Won the war by new year.
So I'm now getting events saying that Daemon's ascended the Iron Throne and we're dismissing the old Kingsguard and Bittersteel wants Summerhall (which is comical btw) and that seems to be it. It's great and all, just... that's it?
I just win? No reaction from anyone else? During the Ninepenny Kings start you get a whole continent-wide civil war. Forgive me for thinking this is a bit underwhelming.
I wanted to play as a proto-Blackfyre situation. Maegor, son of Maegor, is a bastard born 49 AC who realized that the throne rightfully should be his.
I used minimal cheating for the actual war (the Divine Interactions submod to smooth some things over). I wanted to roleplay it in full though. And turns out having Balerion + a small force of extremely well-trained warriors allows you to bully over most of Westeros. By the time the war was won, Maegor had killed both Aemon and Baelon.
Maegor II took the throne in 86, executed Jaehaerys, and took to wife Alysanne, Alyssa, and Maegelle, as was the style of the Cruel before him.
It did not go great for the survivors. Alyssa died inexplicably in a duel shortly after his victory. Maegelle died of childbirth TWO WEEKS LATER, birthing Maegor's only daughter, Visenya. Gael was left unattended and got got by Cannibal.
Viserra was promised to Theomore Manderly in exchange for his support during the war. He died before they had children because he was ancient. The AI remarried her to his son Marlon Manderly, where she died of - you guessed it! - childbirth, in 90 AC. The Maegors might be cruel but I'm not. I felt so bad for Alysanne at this point so I took the kid to King's Landing for fostering.
\"Sorry I killed your entire family, would caring for your granddaughter make it better\"
While the focus of this run was meant to be Maegor II, Alysanne caught my eye because I felt so fucking bad for her. As of year 93, TWO of Alysanne and Jaehaerys' nine kids which survived to this bookmark, were still alive. Vaegon was in the Citadel, minding his damn business. Saera was married to Braxton Beesbury and they appear to be in a hell polycule. Good for them I guess.
Here's Alysanne's life in full. At least she still has her grandkids...!
So, I got myself a pretty cursed timeline.
Started as Oakenfist Velaryon, rebuilt High Tide, all around good times. Then spring sickness hits and everyone except for The Vale, The North and the odd island gets wiped out.
Starks who intermarried with Targs some generations ago descends in full force on The Iron Throne, wipes out all but two lady Targs and seize the Throne, making me vassal to an absolute bastard of a Stark son. Cue the loyalist faction and the five year long war to but the Targs back on the Throne and now I got Dragonstone as my prize for being the leader of the reclamation war.
Skip a generation and now I got my hands on the Vale through an Arryn mariage and the rng gods have blessed me with a fossilized egg from Dragonstone. Now I'm getting greedy and want the Throne, which a Dragon would help greatly, got all the ingredients to bring them back. However I have one dragon egg to the ten in Targ hands and like 5 in Essossi hands.
Thoughts?
Hi all,
Does anyone know why the dragon UI is like this and what mod causes it? Obviously protest problems, but also doesn’t show there size etc??
Any help would be appreciated.
Has anyone else been having issues with The Conciliator being kind of a dick while playing as Aemon lately? I've tried two Aemon runs since the last update; on the first, Jaehaerys denounced Rhaenys for no discernible reason other than her being female (extremely rude!!) and then when Aemon inherited the Iron Throne, I suddenly inherited about 8,000 gold worth of debt that I could not ever pay off since I also inherited the damn war Jaehaerys joined between Dorne and someone he was allied with, so I was haemmorhaging cash and had no option to leave the war. Cheers for that, Dad.
Second run, he denounces AND disinherits Rhaenys - again for no obvious reason, she literally just turned 16 - and I have to quickly divorce Jocelyn and grab a new fertile wife so I have an heir that isn't my brother. Jaehaerys has also already asked me for a loan, so I'm dreading the debt I'm bound to inherit when he dies.
He's never been this bad for me before the latest patch! Is anyone else having issues with him being somewhat erratic and incredibly financially irresponsible? He's a nuisance. I feel like his kids should be allowed to stage an intervention at this point. Depose him and put me on the throne already, I actually have 2 braincells to rub together. smh.
With the current steam sale going on, I considered getting the expansions I'm currently missing. I have everything up to the Chapter 4 stuff, and none of the new stuff.
As I mostly play the AGOT mod, i wanted to know how much the packs are worth it for it. The sale isn't that substantial (only 20% if I get the collection so I can have the cosmetic stuff too), so I'm hesitating a bit.
I'm assuming Khans of the Steppe will eventually become relevant when we get the Dothraki. I know Coronations isn't all that great and would only benefit me in the base game. what about all under heaven? Is it moreso a base game only expansion?
Hi all,
How can I play as Hugh Hammer? I want to RP a rebel Hugh, who flys to skagos and sets up a new kingdom of dragon riders under his and vermithors rule.
I’ll RP that silverwing and Ulf come along for the ride and vermithor and silverwing breed essentially a new dragon dynasty?
Any way I can make this happen in a particular bookmark?
Maybe I’ll even invite Trystane Truefyre along aswell who knows.
Any help with how to/ mods needed would be appreciated.
I made House Targaryen character in the times of Viserys and Daemon. Just played few things, was a captain of a adventurer camp. Befriended Rhaenyra and Viserys by aiding them in wars... all nice and perfect. But then just randomly Daemon died in a siege as an attacker. Okay...? Sus... but okay. Anyway I wanted to have good relationship with him too to ask stuff later so I reloaded the game to autosave and then he was okay... but he died again like 2 years later.
No matter what I do he just keeps on fucking dying in the south. What the hell? Is Daemon just set to die easily in the south? Does this happen to you too?
