Is this game worth it 2026 PS5?

Hi everyone,

The game is on sale for PS5 right now, and I'm wondering if it's still as overhated as it was at launch.

I probably won't play the campaign, I didn't think it was terrible, but the story felt weird.

Is multiplayer still active? I heard it was hard to find matches a few months ago, but now that it's on Xbox Game Pass, has the player base grown?

Also, how's Zombies these days?

I played a lot during the free trials back in 2022 when the seasons were active.

I'd love to hear your opinions. Have a great day!

just got back on Vanguard after 1+ year off

The sniping in Vanguard is probably the best there is in any cod, so punchy and clean 🎯 what sniper rifles is your go to?

Why all the hate?

I'm new to this game and just finished the campaign. I don't understand why was it so criticized. I found it really realistic because in the characters' life there's almost never a happy ending. Friends, family members die just like in real life, it's easier that something goes wrong rather than successful. I like the "backstory" style too. It has been one of my favorites campaigns, I found really engaging and emotionally catchy. People who didn't like it please tell me what did you find disappointing, I'm curious.

Did performance on Series X improve since 2021?

Since Vanguard is on GamePass, and it's the only COD from the last 15 years I skipped, I'd like to give a try.

Reading reviews/comments and watching YouTube videos tough they all say performance was really bad on Series X and it had a lot of other issues as well. All those comments dates back to 2021 when the game launched. So did performance on Series X improve since then?

I'm asking because I also have a PS5 and if the PS version is that better, I could get a used copy for around €10...

Thanks.

I have a LG C1.
