Is it a good sign? #CPALEMAY2026

Is it a good sign po ba na hindi kinakabahan? First time taker po ako.

CPAR x PINNA ONLINE

Hello! Planning to take this October 2026. Planning to have Pinna x CPAR online review since i’m outside Luzon. I heard some comments kasi na better talaga f2f huhu but di talaga keri ng budget. I find myself rin kasi na comfortable to study on my own kaya ‘di ako nag f2f sa available review centers here in my area since pinna and cpar is my top choice talaga.

To those who have/had set-up with me, would like to ask questions po:

  1. Is it enough po ba?
  2. Feedback sa RC pag online set up (effective po ba?)
  3. How do you pace yourself?
  4. Tips (if meron)

Thank you!😊 (I just need some validation lang po talaga na enough na ang online set up 😞)

  2. kumusta naging experience niyo on the first, second and third day of CPALE there? madami bang tao na sumalubong sainyo sa labas?

  3. ano ano mga dinala niyo? pwede bang magsuot ng casio digital watch? nagdala ba kayo ng phone, san niyo nilagay? how about yung lunch niyo? sobrang lamig ba sa loob na need magdala ng jacket or pwede kaya ang scarf?

  4. pano yung set up ng mga upuan at desks if any? hindi ba masikip ang mesa para sa test paper at scantron?

  5. anything you wish you knew or wish somebody had told you before entering the testing center?

CPAR AFAR SELF TESTS

Hi! so i’m taking the may 2026 cpale and was plotting my schedule for the next days before the cpale. Gusto ko lang po sana i-ask kung recommended po bang answeran yung self tests 1-3 ng AFAR ng CPAR? or at the very least ay yung lecture preweek ok na? was estimating my schedule per subject kasi and feel ko di kakayanin ng time ko yung self test 1-3.

LF STUDY BUDDY 👉🏽👈🏽

Hi! I am 23 y/o from manila and will be taking the CPALE this October 2026. Naghahanap lang sana ng constant kausap/accountability buddy since I’m basically studying alone 😭 My friends aren’t taking the boards anytime soon so medyo nakakabaliw magreview mag-isa HAHAHA.

Not really looking for virtual study sessions naman. I just want someone na pwede ko maupdate-an kung nasaan na ako sa inaaral ko and someone who gets the review szn struggle 😭.

Okay lang if guy or gay, preferably someone na:

• nagrereview din for CPALE

• g for random chikahan/rants/motivation

Feel free to DM me 🫶

Any Recommended Place to Stay Near MCU for CPALE?

Preferably sana walking distance lang to MCU or isang sakay. Okay lang po if hotel or Airbnb. Thank you!

OCTOBER 2026 CPALE

Hello guys, I just want to have some clarity by having your thoughts. To those that review twice and for those na mga CPA na. I would to ask how you manage all the subjects in a very limited time. How you strategize your study plan po?

I enrolled online in RESA and full time reviewee ako, sa bahay lang ako nagstay and yung bahay namin is walang mga pader like isang bahay lang sya na lahat ng galaw and ingay ay maririnig mo. Due to noise, pressure, family judgement and unstable emotion i didn't make it na makapasa sa First Pre board ng RC ko and because of that hindi ko nakuha ang TOR ko.

After that naghanap na ako ng work but after 2 weeks naisip kong ilaban na to hanggang OCT 2026 so, di paden ako nagwork pero naging shady ako sa pag aaral. And 2 weeeks from now mawawala na yung access ko sa RESA and honestly hindi ko natapos , i didn't able to maximize my resources.

My school advice me to get ftf review and enrolled in CPAR which I did, pero natatakot lang ako kase almost lahat ng post sabi dapat good foundation na kapag CPAR ka. So now, i feel scared na baka mali na naman yung desisyon ko.

I would like to ask, pano po naging strategy nyo sa pagrerereview nung panahon nyo?

I will appreciate your thoughts and advice po.

reo or cpar

Hello! I'll be taking the Oct 2026 CPALE.

I'm currently deciding which RC to pursue. For context, enrolled ako now sa Pinnacle (online) pero ang main purpose ko nito is for recap lang para hindi first view pag nag intensive review na ako since i have a weak foundation sa lahat ng subjs. I plan to finish Pinna lecvids by July.

This June na kasi magsstart lahat ng live lecs ng RCs and i am from the province (only 2 rcs avail here) that's why I am torn to choose between CPAR (online) or REO (hybrid).

Pls help me decide which RC po ba better given nakakapagreview na ako slight from Pinna. Or any suggestions on what to do instead. Thank you!

Planning to attend the onsite preweek of CPAR, have some questions lang!!

  1. Free for all po ba ang seating or masusunod pa ba yung assigned seat plan?
  2. Which room po ba usually nagdidiscuss yung lecturer?

Tia everyone!

My CPALE Journey

I took up BS Accountancy from 1st year until 4th year, 1st semester — one semester away nalang sana from graduating and taking the CPALE. But I was forced to shift to BS Management Accounting because of our university’s retention policy requiring a 1.75 maintaining grade in all subjects plus annual retention exams.

During our final years, the university suddenly implemented a new OBE curriculum/approach even though many faculty members were not yet fully trained or prepared for it. Students were heavily affected. Marami sa amin ang bumagsak sa maintaining grade and were forced to shift programs. We protested and raised our concerns to the administration, but our appeals were denied.

I eventually graduated BS Management Accounting, but I still pursued my dream of becoming a CPA by enrolling in another school to complete my BSA degree. It took another year. At the same time, I enrolled in 3 different review centers and even deferred one CPALE schedule just to fully prepare myself.

And thankfully, it paid off.

I became a CPALE Topnotcher. (Won’t disclose the year and exact rank for privacy reasons 😅)

What’s ironic is that the same university that forced me out of the BSA program suddenly started flaunting my achievement on their social media pages, website, and even placed tarpaulins around the campus — all without my consent.

They invited me to their testimonial dinner and asked me to give a speech. I never responded to their emails and never attended. The administration even offered me a ₱50,000 cash reward, which I also declined.

No amount of money can compensate for the trauma, depression, and self-doubt I experienced when I was forced out of the program I fought so hard for.

Fast forward to today: I’m now a Senior Accountant in Dubai handling UK clients, earning around PHP 4XX,XXX monthly.

Life has a funny way of working out. Sometimes the people who reject you become the same people who later want to claim your success.

What they did to me delayed my journey, damaged my mental health, and nearly made me give up on my dream. But one thing I learned is this: rejection does not define your destiny. Sometimes, the people and institutions that fail you become the very reason you push harder and prove to yourself what you are truly capable of.

I was removed from the program, forced to shift courses, and made to feel that I was no longer good enough to become a CPA. Yet despite all of that, I still found my way back. I rebuilt myself quietly, endured the pressure, sacrificed years, faced failures and self-doubt, and eventually conquered the CPALE as a topnotcher.

Success became more meaningful because I earned it the hard way.

To everyone who feels left behind, rejected, delayed, or underestimated: your current situation is not the end of your story. Keep going. Your setbacks today may become the foundation of your greatest comeback tomorrow. Sometimes, the best revenge is not anger — it is success, peace, and proving that no system, policy, or person can permanently stop someone who refuses to quit.
