Hi! I graduated June 2025, failed my first take on may 2026 and now I'm thinking of deferring to may 2027 (anrami ko pong backlogs since nag start palang ako ng late august sa review). I just wanna know if bad look po ba sa mga employers kung matagal po yung gap ng graduate date ko and time ko ng maghanap ng trabaho po since i really want to pass cpale first before having my first job. Please be honest, Mahihirapan po kaya ako makahanap ng work?

To CPAs: How do you transition from academics to real-life accounting?

Hello there!

I am a reviewee, but even back in my undergraduate days, I would wonder how you applied what you learned in school to your work as CPAs. Because even with just this book in front of me, I feel like I can’t picture how this is applied in actual jobs.

Did you struggle with your first job? How did you handle the tasks assigned to you if your supervisor wasn’t guiding you properly?

P.S. My internship was just clerical work, so it was mostly about stacking and stapling papers.

I am a reviewee, pero kahit pa nung undergrad ako napapaisip ako paano po ninyo naiapply yung naaral ninyo ng school to your work now as CPAs? Kasi ngayong libro palang ang kaharap ko feeling ko hindi ko ma-picture ito kung paano ba ito na a-apply sa trabaho na talaga.

Nahirapan po ba kayo sa first job ninyo? Paano po ninyo na handle yung mga pinapagawa sa inyo if hindi naman po maayos yung pag guide ng supervisor ninyo?

Ps. Clerical work lang po kasi yung internship ko so more on stacking and stapling papers lang po

I'm studying for CPALE Oct 2026, hindi ko talaga maappreciate/mavisualize yung tax forms and percentages kaya nahihirapan akong mag memorize at sumagot. Any tips po please ano po kayang need ko pang gawin?

Hi po! Please tell me saan po pwede magpagawa ng house number, lumbaga yung parang plaka ang material pero house number ang mailalagay. Puro acrylic ang nahahanp ko, yung metal po sana. Thank you!!
