Since Jay is taking his sweet time getting back from Estes Park Colorado, I'm going to take over for a week and host the Loot the Booty, with a few twists, here are the rules for this week;

1. Guess the spot price of silver for the end of business Friday 5/22 and win a silver counterstamped dime in a specially made holder. Entries must be made by Thursday 5/21 by 8pm, at which time the post will be taken down. A new post will be made to display all entries for transparency. If nobody wins by guessing exactly, the closest guess will be the winner.

2. In case of an exact tie, this time I will send BOTH winners a counterstamped silver dime, and a handful of my other counterstamped coins for your collection.

3. Be a member of r/CRH_Porn. One entry per username.

4. Must be willing to send shipping address to me (Active Vegetable) in DM.

5. If you have a cat, you must post their picture with your guess.

6. Only guesses on the original post in r/CRH_Porn are valid, cross posts in other subs are for visibility only.

This is my second dime over 100 years old (1916 was the first) and my third dime pre 1937 (1929 as well). Not sure if that is dirt or tarnish but the dark area on the reverse looks like a burn mark maybe?

Hey all. My loot the booty prize arrived this weekend. Thanks u/dryercoinjay and r/CRH_porn for running this promotion. I will be keeping this coin as is, forever, to commemorate this momentous day.

Since the PMDGS / CRH Porn community has grown enough to needing another moderator, DryerCoinJay reached out to me and I have accepted. Many of you know me from either r/CounterstampKarl as a founding member and mod, or from r/coinerrors as the guy who downvotes every post. Earlier this week I posted that I had found a 1945 P mercury dime in a roll of dimes while CRH here in Canada. I thought that I had found the coolest silver coin so far since restarting CRH last year. Well that lasted 3 days…
