This one landed in my hands today from a dear customer of mine who coincidentally is a laundry machine repair mechanic. He stopped by today to catch up and to give me this.

I haven’t had much time to myself lately, I got married on August 6th. So the honeymoon is almost over. Wait…is the honeymoon period 2 weeks or????

I don’t even know anymore but the point is things are starting to settle in again. I’ve finally made arrangements to start getting a weekly pickup again after several months. I’m willing waiting and eager to share my PMD finds with my fellow crapmismatic experts. I think I just invented the term crapmismatics just now.

Well my fellow crapmismaticians, it was an amazingly beautiful day in my neighborhood. The heat has broke, even if for a few day reprieve. I’ll take it! Hope you are all having a great day!

First let me say Imma big fan of ladder bills. Scrambled or jumbled ladders are my thing. I have a section in my bill book specifically for them. Recently I finally found a super crisp 20 dollar bill scrambled ladder. Today, I found this. I like how the numbers flow.

If it were in better condition I wouldn’t hesitate but I’m looking for a super crispy one to frame with a couple of other bills for my office. So the hunt continues.

I stopped getting boxes of pennies when the banks stopped ordering them. Since then whenever I go to pick up I buy out all the pennies all the tellers will sell me. I’ve been throwing them in buckets and boxes in the corner waiting for a rainy day.

I’ve been a bit busy this week making plans for my wedding next week so I haven’t been able to get to the bank. I have a rare Wednesday off work today so I decided to open a few rolls, scratch the itch a little.

Well bless the maker and his water if I didn’t find one of the coolest wheats out there. It’s not an S or even an VDB, but it’s one of those coins I bought in the past just to have, and this one I paid a penny for.

PS, my sorting piles. I save all solid copper separated out by condition and decade discarding corrosion or dirty coins. This represents about 12 dollars in separated copper.

1. Top left near the 3 quarters, those are 2025’s.
2. Just southeast of those is a big pile of AU-BU red to red/brown solid copper of all years.
3. South of the red penny pike is 1960-1969
4. Left of that is 1970-1979
5. Left of that is 1980-1982
6. Just north of the 1970’s pile is two 1959’s
7. North of the ‘59’s is a pile of 2009’s.

Most of the other coins in that area are dryer coins

Not the most rare notes, but still nice. Good condition. No major creases or dirt. Should flatten out nicely in my book.

I may not be a doctor but I’m pretty sure if we can get Lucas on the phone to come to a settlement on getting a copy or fax of a certificate of authenticity on this thing we would be ready for one of the big time auction houses. That’s right, I’m talking Vinted. Possibly Whatnot.

Maybe even a 3 day eBay auction with a gas of a reserve price. You never know how far these things can go.

Found this in the closet at work. I was told they keep it around “just in case”. Pretty sure if it came down to having to use this I’d just lock the door and go home for the day.

I got two customer rolls today. One had a bunch of common date uncirculated from ‘58-71. The second roll had:

1, 1951-S #6 low mintage Jefferson
3, 1955-P #7 low mintage Jefferson
3, 1950-D #1 low mintage Jefferson 2 of them uncirculated and one close to full steps
1, 1943-S war nickel
1, 1959-P black beauty

I haven’t had much time or availability for CRH’ing lately so this was an amazing find in just one roll.

I’m gonna get a good bottle of scotch tomorrow and pour one out for the collector it came from.

My favorite show for the short time it was on. The Great American Hero. The opening song and this scene were hilarious to me as a kid, every time.

Found this one today as change at the grocery store. Luckily the self serve kiosk was gentle with it.

My CRH career has been put on hold the past month. New manager at my pickup bank came on and immediate went on vacation. Going in Monday to hopefully set up my weekly coin order.

But for now, I think this’ll do just fine.
