Walked up to the machine and saw a few cents in front. Several more in the reject bin.
Figured if there’s some in front of it, there’s probably some under it!
Got out my scraper and went to work. Filled up my Altoids tin, so I guess I better see what I got!
I dumped 608 quarters in to the coinstar kiosk yesterday.... It rejected 2 of them.... This was one of em.! I'm so excited! Lol
take your nickel and make it a quarter
This is my first coinstar find! It was just sitting there like that when I found it. To me it looks like someone, somehow made a nickel into the exact shape of a quarter.
is this a common thing?

were they trying to trick the coinstar into thinking a nickel was a quarter?
Silver!
While returning my weekly box of quarters. I found this little gem in the return basket. The box yielded 2 silver and then 1 more at the dump spot.
I truly enjoy searching coins with my kids. To them it’s a real treasure hunt. To me it’s quality time making memories that will last a lifetime.
Just a single chewed up coin that got spit out after I turned it on.

Found in the floor in front of the machine. Mintage of 4,137,000. I’d say this is maybe a AG, yeah?
As we walked into the store's entrance, I could hear all of this change being dumped from a large bag by this older woman (possibly homeless, couldn't really tell). I told my son, "lets go wait for her to leave and check the tray." He was kind of embarrassed to do that, so we walked around the store. After we left the checkout stand, I walked by the coinstar and peeked downward at the tray and saw it was nearly full. And at the same time saw silver edges. I reached and grabbed a handful and my son followed after. here are our finds....
Have to add this to my Canada jar and spend it next tome I go there.
Husband ran to Kroger, came home and all casually drops a little pile of foreign coins and a silver dime in front of me. While I'm checking out the coins he sneakily slides the Walking Liberty in front of me. I nearly fell over. I love this man, he always checks the Coinstar for me everywhere he goes.
Mix of silver, clad. And foreign. Not bad for my 1st time checking the local WM.
Went camping last weekend and had to stop in a grocery store to buy firewood, found the quarter.
Then yesterday I checked a few machines and found the dime.
