Treasure hunting yesterday…
5 estate sales, 1 thrift store, a $1.20 from a Coinstar. A little over 16g from 3 silver rings ($7 total). And a creepy clown spoon. Fun day!
Got my grandpa’s coin collection today. He passed away 20+ years ago, and I didn’t know this existed until today.
I love the little coin holders he made with whatever was at hand… probably in the 50’s or 60’s. Excited to see what’s here!
My grandpa rolled these long ago… 1973 P penny.
This is a representative sample. It’s a pretty penny, but nothing special, correct?
1929 Mercury dime (toned)
Picked this up at an estate sale this morning. Nicest Mercury dime I own. Curious on grade. Thank you!
Still fairly new to this, and trying to collect interesting silver and from different mints. What are some of your favorites?
Please post pics… thank you!
188? V nickel
This was in a small bag of coins for $5 at an estate sale. Poor?
Not sure if this is stacking or just buying pretty stuff…
But I’m having a blast!
Air Force coin
My dad was a F-4 navigator in Korea and Vietnam. I’ve had this for most of my life, and just realized it’s .925 silver. Thought I’d share.
Recent estate sale find…
Love the Rockies, but I don’t know much about the book. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Any recommendations for a local coin shop?
Just moved back after many years away. I’ve been to a couple I found on Yelp and neither had coins out for browsing. Okay with nearby towns too. Thank you!
