Manufacturing error?

My son put this penny in vinegar to 'clean it' and it fizzed for 24 hours. When he scrubbed it with a toothbrush, Lincoln's face melted off!?! He mentioned there might have been a black goo on the penny prior to the vinegar. Is this a defect in the penny, or was the goo and vinegar caustic enough to erode the metal?

Counterfeit money from other countries your country has a poor relationship with, not your home country. Sell it online to people in the country.

The US authorities are not going to care if you're counterfeiting Iranian, Chinese, Russian, etc. money.

Possible Class VI DDO? 2026 D Nickel, extra thickness apparent on bottom serifs of IN GOD WE TRUST, mint mark. These aren't flat shelves, the fat serifs appear to have splits most apparent on I, N, T, R, T

See comments for a "normal" 2026 nickel for comparison.

Help me make sense of this...

Tucked in the middle of a bunch of 90% silver auction listings was this group of 1965-1970 dimes that went for about 15x face. Is there any reason for this? Someone might have thought they were silver??

Did you know that CAC partnered with the US Mint to pre-grade some 2025 Stacey Park Milbern quarters? This example only received an "EH" grade, and I concur it's pretty circulated and scratched up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Holy Crap I Finally Found One!

My first time looking through halves and do you see what I see?? A beautiful copper-nickel 1977 Kennedy. So sick of the constant full silver rolls with the stupid Ben Franklin face, then I have to reroll them and bring them back to my bank. How is it so hard to find copper edges?

1972 D no FG half

Found yesterday 8/5/26 CRH. Displays the faint / disappearing stars and flow lines typically found on this variety. The FG are a mound, with sharp enough angled light you can make them out, visible in the second pic where I'm holding the coin at an angle to catch the light. This is one of those grey area examples that according to what PCGS says wouldn't get attributed but according to actual graded examples could get attributed. You can dive into that here with this study.

Here are 3 prominent examples I always point out that are PCGS graded and attributed, but have visible bits of the FG:

1. you can see the top of the F and G on this one.

2. There are distinct faint bumps of the F & G on this one.

3. There is a bump of the top of the F or G here along the bottom of the eagle’s leg.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the new beauty standard is for women to cut their ears off, as ears are a masculine trait which make the face look too big and hearing isn't necessary as it doesn't align with being demure.

evil feminists say perhaps this is unnecessary and ears are natural. women are aggressively proclaiming they are cutting their ears off due to sensory issues.

The claim "RFK Jr. does not fuck chickens" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that RFK Jr. fucks chickens.
