1 1929 P Buffalo Nickel
2 1937 P Buffalo Nickels
1 1943 S War Nickel
1 2009 D Nickel
2 2024 P Nickels
This was a first for me. Does anyone recognize this handiwork? No silver in today’s box, though, and only two NIFC.
I found what really looks like a worn 1914-D in a cull lot from eBay right after buying a 14-D (of course). Anyone have a counterstamped 31-s they wanna trade?!
My Artemis II card came in today so I can display the card of the first human moon mission since 1972 with my little lunar meteorite called NWA 15373
nothing today but this thing. i feel like this is the second time i found this
Has some crazy color/pattern.
My phone isn't the best, sorry
I got a barber dime, 2 mercs and my first shield nickel plus some wheaties from u/Entity_Anonymous 🤩 this is the best group on Reddit 🙏🏻❤️
40 bucks wasnt a bad price 😜 it is a set so I got both
Hello everyone, I picked up a few dollars of "junk" dimes this afternoon and the first one I scoped happens to be a 1964d rpm stage b fs-501. Just a reminder for you all to check your "junk"!
Over the past couple years I’ve accumulated 124$ worth of 2024P, and 50 cents 2024D
Was in the case for 45 bucks
Finally posting my search results to my own sub. Huge thanks to u/counterstampkarl for sharing it.
All around pretty solid results. All of the silver halves came out of CWR's except 1 40% in the Loomis boxes. It seems like the silver has dried up a bit in the boxes as I'm sitting at 1.78 silver halves per box (excluding the 28 boxes of pure 2024d).
My favorite finds were the Columbus commemorative half and my first 2026 coins! Can't believe I found a P&D set in the same bag.
For those curious about the counterstamp coins, here is a link I posted a while ago. Short story is I'm seeing how long it takes to get them back in circulation. This makes the 11th coin out of 673 that has returned home, but I'm still getting plenty that aren't stamped.
Now for the fun part, returning $4,460 in change. How many boxes of donuts should I bring with me?
Edit: forgot to mention the 1971 & 1973 are electroplated.
i've found that sight works well, but hearing is the first sense that comes into play when hunting. when i spill a bag of quarters, i can hear a silver one before i see it. clad coins all sound the same. that being said, i notice the new semiquincentennial quarters sound off from regular clad. i'm wondering if the composition has been altered just slightly. anybody else notice this sound phenomena? dimes and nickels are sight only though!
Absolute jackpot. I wouldnt believe it if i didnt have it in my hands. By far my luckiest rolls ive ever opened. Customer dropped these off while I was off, and my fellow teller held it for me. She didnt want any of it. I offered multiple times. I got cool coworkers😭🖤
In PCB with my nephew for his graduation vacation and found this for $15 at a pawn shop. Not bad IMO
My teller today had a whole box of these. She offered 5 I bought 1. Do I leave it as a roll? Pop it open and look for perfect ones? At a loss as to what to do now.
Going back tomorrow to pick up my order so could get more, but one seems like plenty?
Left to right. 1929-S, 1945-P, 2009-P.
