1 lone silver nickel from the mwr. 1943S. Is the offset mint mark anything special or were they just a little sloppy in the midst of war? 2 wheaties for the book and a bunch of 40s and 50s nickles from the cwr. The cwr of pennies were definitely a dump. All newer. Averaged 1 copper per roll and nothing else worth a crap.

Just got "the talk" from a branch manager.

Moving forward we're going to have to limit you to one tray of each denomination a week. It cost us money, usually reserved for our business customers and so on.

I kinda saw this coming after they cut me off of boxes. Still sucks and it was in front of tellers and customers which is what really stung. Time to start hitting other branches.

Results from $50 quarters, $25 dimes, $20 nickles and $10 pennies

Found my first buffalo nickel! Sadly no date or MM. A very nice 1941S nickel. A great condition 1959D. 3 wheat cents and a very unfortunate 1962D. Overall a great hunt even without any silver.

I'm flippin pumped.

That's the first buffalo nickel I've ever pulled from a roll. I dumped the roll and it took a few seconds to register. Then I was running over to show my wife. I know its not worth anything but it's priceless to me. And I thought you'd enjoy a messed up 62d.

From the coin machine magnet at my dump bank.

The teller cleared the magnet prior to running my coins and said they're Canadian. I asked if she ever got any steel pennies (no☹️). And in the course of conversation she offered me the Canadian coins which I happily pocketed. I am now the proud owner of 55 cents Canadian, 1 Thai Baht and 1 Philippines peso. Sadly they had no boxes of pennies to spare.

Box of nickel results

I feel I peaked a little early on this one. Found the 1945s in the 3rd roll and no other silver. Got my first 2026! And a Somali 5 shilling. Lots of pre 60s including 2-1941 and 2-1948. Best box overall in a bit.

Box of pennies results

10 wheat cents. Oldest is 1919. Really nice 1952 and 1956. Also quite a bit of good condition older cents. Several 2009. An interesting damaged 2001d. And 10 cents Canadian.
