I recently discovered that I can stream my Xbox from home to my car via a browser. However, I can't figure out how to pair the Bluetooth controller to the car. I can only pair phones from what I've seen. Has anyone been able to pair a non-phone Bluetooth device?
I recently reset my infotainment system and when it loaded back up, the themes app was installed ( learned this trick in the Cadillac forum). So far it looks great and I’m having no issues at all. Pretty cool.
How do I remove the regen icon from the toolbar? Sometimes other drivers in my household will press it by mistake and I never want to turn it off. TIA.
Leased a 2025 Optiq Sport 2 in September 2025. Currently only at 7k miles, and the issues just seem to keep coming.
- December 2025 front camera system needed to be replaced due to continuous errors while using super cruise, was at the dealership over a month being replaced
- May 2026 after receiving update at dealership, entire telematics system went. No longer have access to OnStar, wi-fi, super cruise, maps, Spotify, etc…
- part is still back ordered and been driving a basically bricked car for almost three months now
- interior lining around dashboard is coming out, and guess what, part back ordered
- now the car’s interior creeks and chirps at every bump
I’ve been driving Cadillacs over a decade and this is the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had. Hate that I can’t use any of the features that made the car a joy to drive.
Hoping Cadillac make right on these issues and inconveniences somehow…
2026 Optiq sport, any help is appreciated!!
Just snagged a loaner deal on a ‘26 Sport AWD! Black Raven over Sky Cool Grey/Santorini Blue. Any tips & tricks on how to get most out of my Optiq would be appreciated, I’m not too well versed in GM’s newer Android/Google based systems :)
I used to have a ‘20 Bolt EV, and after a brief pivot back to gas (‘24 Mazda3 Turbo), I’m happy to be back in the EV world; so I’m pretty well versed in using one pedal driving and coasting and charging. Still, I’m curious to know how are y’all maximizing your range in these. An Optiq and an old Bolt are two very different animals after all. So far I’ve been using ECO climate & OPD around town or traffic jams and swapping to coasting/regen paddle on highways and I’ve been getting around 3.0kWh/mi.
Also; browsing this sub shows that Apple Music is rolling out now. Any tips on how to get it show up or does it just randomly pop up in my main home menu? And I was given one of those key cards but it doesn’t seem to work. Is that something I set up or is that a trip back to the dealer?

Finally got surround vision to work. Security mode seems REALLY poorly implemented if what I understand is correct. From what I read, it will only record when the alarm goes off. IF that's the only time it goes off there's a good chance somebody is breaking into your vehicle. If they break into your vehicle can't they just steal the USB drive sticking out of the dash that's recording them breaking into your vehicle, lol?
OMG, I’m sitting in my car waiting on a take out order and decided to watch a movie on Prime video. The sound is exceptional. It sounds like you are in the movie theater. I never heard this quality in my LYRIQ.

Getting my first ever EV tomorrow! Dealer is pushing for basic extended warranty. Have any of you opted for such warranties? I’m financing and will be using it as a daily driver for work, if that matters ~120km a day.

Looking to lease an Optiq since my Volvo will probably be totalled and with no costco incentive makes it tough to go back.
Here in NC I see dealer sites quoting $1500 above msrp (after adding their options) but on leasehackr I see folks getting nice discounts off msrp before incentives.

I finished charging my car to 79%, and told the cadillac app to stop charging. However, the charging port is still flashing green like its charging- and I cant unplug the tesla supercharging cable by pressing the button on the charger.
its just stuck in there, not charging. I cant get it to work. I've spent about 2 hours trying to get the goddamn tesla superchargers just to charge the damn car- and now I cant unplug from it. Anyone know how to fix this? and stop more issues with tesla superchargers in the future?

It’s apparently not possible to remove turn-by-turn navigation cues from the HUD display. Please fix!
I love the HUD. Had it in my last car, which offered selectable options for display cues. I want to declutter the HUD down to speed and speed limit. I’ve got enough map and nav info screamjng at me from other places. Don’t want to see it heads-up.
As far as I can tell, the only way to remove the nav cues from the HUD display is to exit active navigation on the map.
Optiq fam, If I’m missing something here, let me know. I’ve researched as well as I can, and just watched three dealership galaxy brains try and fail.

Why is it such a hassle to get an update? I don't get it. Some updates OTA, others you have to claim "oh, my interface is slow" or some nonsense when they ask why you want a vehicle wide update? And it takes 4+ hours?
What is this absolute nonsense?
How about "I want an update because they've added new features", isn't that fairly obvious?
I would like my next vehicle to have either FSD (Model Y Performance or used S Long Range) or Super Cruise (Optiq V), mainly for night driving and relaxing daytime trips. I’m hoping for feedback from folks who have experience with both. I don’t necessarily need point to point, but I want help on dark roads and over bridges and highway connectors. I was driving recently at night when roadwork was being done on the freeway and the bright lights made it very difficult for me to see with the glare.
I’m wondering how each one does in bad weather or on particularly dark roads. Also, how does each do when lanes have been shifted? I’m sure I’ll have more questions and let me know if I need to be in a different forum please.
About to buy a CPO 2025 Optiq Luxury 2. Dealership includes this aftermarket PULSE device for all units at a price of $399, with claims that it is a safety feature. I'm concerned about this being spliced into the electrical system and potentially effecting the vehicle warranty. Furthermore, I can't imagine it's necessary. Should I be concerned? Otherwise, I love the vehicle!
