Awful front tire wear

Photos of my driver’s side front and rear tires. Insane amount of outside wear on the front. Like it has positive camber.

Proper air pressure all 4 corners and no I don’t take a race track to work with all right hand turns.

I’m going to end up replacing these fronts at least. Kinda baloney on a 20k mile lease.

Current mileage: 10,015.

Anyone else? 🤔

EZ Pass Issue

I’m using my Vistiq to commute to work however the EZ Pass isn’t reading and I’m being charged on a daily basis even when I have the correct number of people. No entity is responsible for this situation. Has anyone had this problem or know who is responsible for the overall public-private agreement between TransUrban and the state of Virginia?

Finally covered up the Fugly rear windows!

So happy I finally did this. I hated the side profile with those fugly rear windows.

Used black ppf instead of vynl its a much deeper gloss black wont scratch as easily and self heals in the sun.

My shop also did the rear c pillars and top chrome trim.

More to come …

New to Cadillac, VISTIQ, and EVs (oh my)

We entered the EV world with a new Cadillac VISTIQ. The VISTIQ is our first Cadillac and she is beautiful! We are slowly figuring out the options and settings.

Any advice? Cool features? Things to watch out for?

Thoughts/advice/encouragement needed on a deal

A dealer is selling brand new Vistiq Sport 7 seater at 73k which has seen only 12 miles on the Odometer. My gripe is that the exterior color is not of my first choice but I desperately need to get rid of my Chrysler Pacifica 2018 that has been gradually falling apart. My in-laws would be with us for 2 months and there a few long trips we plan on making between the months of June and July.

The dealership is 450+ miles away and I would have to spend at least $500 in getting there and drive it back home. Considering the sale price, I believe it’s worth it. Do you folks feel the same?

I know it’s entirely up to what I want and how soon I want it, but please feel free to share your thoughts.

Check “all lights” error messages

Our Vistiq started displaying error/info messages asking us to check the lights. The messages come on each time the car is started -

Check Low Beams
Check High Beams
Check Front Park Lamp
Check Daytime Running Lamps
Check Rear Park Lamps
Check Brake Lamps

Also starting today and related, the brake lights no longer illuminate except for the 3rd light bar above the back window, and the running/parking lights (that appear to be working) do not turn off when the vehicle is shut off.

Connected to OnStar and nothing was found during the remote diagnostic nor is anything showing in the app. We scheduled the next available service appointment, but that is over a week away at this point. I also tried the “hang up button” method to reboot the infotainment system, but this had no effect on the speedometer cluster.

Has anyone experienced this or have any guesses on what to try until we can get it into the dealer?

Bumpy ride

Started driving my premium luxury Vistiq this morning (which I love) and it felt like someone had installed hydraulics overnight. And not in a good way. It was very uncomfortable. I looked at suspension, tire pressure, etc and everything seemed normal.

Anyone else have this problem come up?

Kid Booster Recommendations

We have a 2026 Vistiq with captain chairs and unfortunately our Chicco Kidfit booster seat does not fit in the captain chair due to the non-removable headrests. It seems like the only options I’ve found online might potentially be the Diono or Nuna Ace. I was wondering if anyone have tried these or has a booster that fits? TY!

NACS adapter stuck

I can’t get the NACS adapter to come out when I press the button on the adapter it’s stuck. It’s barely moving. I can tell the latch is slightly moving, but it seems that the car is not unlocking it. I tried to pull the little loop cable under the hood and that is stuck too. I tried pressing the unlock button on the key fob several times quickly and that didn’t help either. Anyone knows of any way to get it to unlock.?

Charging schedule

My electric company gives me a credit as long as I only charge between certain hours.

In the charging app I only found where you can tell it when to complete charging at but not an option to tell it when to start. Is that not a function you can do?

Charge Curve

Has anyone here tracked their charge curve? I've been trying to decide if my Vistiq has a thermal management issue during DCFC or if it's jus normal for the vehicle. I'm quite aware of the classic "GM dip" as I own two GM manufactured EVs, an Acura ZDX and the Vistiq. When I first purchased the ZDX it had a huge dip after around 45% or so, but some programming seemed to improve it at least a bit.

I was hoping that the Vistiq, being a bit newer, would have a similar bahavior, but the GM dip on it is far worse and more agressive. Last night I stopped to charge with about 17% remaining, and it was getting close to midnight so I didn't want to stop again before we got home as we still had 2 hours of driving, so I let the vehicle charge to 70%. I had great charging until about the 50% mark, peaking around 185kW, then slowly rolling down to about 145kW around 50%, but then it fell off a cliff, within about 30 seconnd dropping down to around 80kW before slowly starting to climb again.

This seems like a bigger "dip" than I see in most charts. I couldn't find any charts for the Vistiq but a see some for the Lyriq and they look very similar to my ZDX, but the Vistiq is worse. Anyone else charge their charging curve?

What Should Come Standard with Purchase?

I bought one of the Courtesy Vistiq's (as new). I realized that the only things that came with it was the floor mats and the tow hook.

Doing some research, it looks like the vehicle should have come with at least the dual level charging cable. Is this true? Also, what else should have come with this vehicle? I want to make sure everything that should be in a New Vistiq purchase was included. My guess is because it was a Courtesy Vehicle, they took that out and have it somewhere in storage.

Edit: For those who ask later, all trims of the Vistiq have the L1 charing cable as a standard option.

Surround vision recorder

Anyone here has the surround vision recorder enabled on their vistiq? I don't see it on mine and I'm wondering if this feature has been rolled out to some. I'm in Canada.

Homelink Gate Opener

Just got my Cadillac Vistiq last night, I keep looking at it sitting in the garage and smile.

EDIT: Got it to work. Even though the remote worked fine, I put a fresh battery in and it finally took after repeatedly pushing the button. Holding didn’t work.

I am trying to setup my neighborhood gate on the Homelink. My Palisade I had before this had Homelink and I was able to program the neighborhood gate on it no issues.

When I do the "add device" and then I push and hold the button on the little keyfob for the gate, it just continues to say that it is searching for signal. It just does not seem to pickup that there is any signal. If I am near the gate, the gate opens as I do this, but the vehicle is just not seeing anything.

Anyone have this issue and have a suggestion? I was going to ask one of the neighbors who got one of the newer gate openers to see if just mine is the issue.

Wiper service mode

Hey everyone, does anyone know the exact steps to get wipers propped up or in service mode? I can't find information on this and Cadillac support doesn't have it either. Thanks!
