Cherry Lane peacefully went to sleep this past Friday night. She’s been fighting chronic kidney disease for about 2 years now. Biggest fighter I’ve ever seen. I already miss her so much. She started refusing to eat and going to the bathroom outside the box a bit ago. She’d eat at least a little bit everyday but Thursday and Friday she barely ate a thing so we made the decision to send her home where she won’t have to take anymore nasty pills or be stuck with needles for SubQ fluids anymore. We all love you, Cherry, fly high my sweet little angel :(

She just turned 10. She is larger and louder than when I adopted her at age 3. But she still chases off wayward critters and protects the property!
