Grandfather gave me some notes.
Just starting to get into this sort of stuff. It’s so interesting to me. My grandfather passed these down to me. They don’t make bills like these anymore.
Can anyone tell me what the yellow tag on the $20 is?

Anyone have suggestions on bill sleeves for larger size bills? I inherited a collection of coins and banknotes and I want to properly protect them. Thanks in advance.
I recently inherited some older Canadian currency and I would like some advice on who, or where to take them for an honest appraisal in the GTA.
This one stands out and appears to tick some boxes, can anyone advise on an appropriate value?
Thanks.
I wasn't sure if I should get it graded or not but it caught my eye!
Only my second radar and definitely the cooler of the two with the zeros in my opinion.
Given to me by my parents when I was a teen. Been sitting in a poster tube in the closet for decades? Not sure what to do with it. Collecting currency really isn't my thing and not really sure of the value either.
Like most things, condition matters. Has curling from being in the tube but could likely be flattened?
I bought this about 20 years ago I believe it was graded by the dealer about VF at the time. I love the design of this and this one had very wide margins. I think I paid between 5-600 at the time.
Thoughts on their grade? Thoughts on value now?
In person it's crazy how big this bill is, I couldn't imagine using it
These were passed down from my grandmother and I’m curious if that are worth anything?
I was gifted these about 20 years ago by my grandmother. Not really looking to sell but very curious of any potential value. Thinking I'll frame them and display in my office and give to the kids once they are older.
The 5s appear to be in awesome shape, no creases and sharp corners. Same for the older 2 dollar bill.
All have sequential numbers.
Hey so I’ve had this bill for quite some time but have never really had any opinions on it (none of my friends or family really collect but I enjoy the hobby), so any ideas on this? It looks to be a very similar colour ink wise to the serial number but more faded (sorta pink?). Any ideas/insight would be greatly appreciated! In the third photo I’m holding it up a little to the window/sun and you can see the streak/serial through.
So I was browsing Colonial Acres' Unique Items auction not long ago, and came across an incomplete set of circulated community trade notes from Chemainus BC, also affectionately known as Muraltown. Colonial wanted $60 for those.
I was intrigued, did a little research, and managed to find 2 complete uncirculated sets with matching serial numbers on the Mid-Island Coin Club website for $25 each.
Digging a little further, I found the Chemainus Monetary Foundation website where they still had collectors editions of the book (from 2010), both with and without matched serial sets of notes. I got 3 of those @ $25, 1 just for the story/history/artwork, and 2 to re-populate with the uncirculated note sets I got from Mid-Island. And to cap it all off, I got my hands on #8 of 9 of the original artists proof books, with another complete set of matched serial notes. Nobody around me gets why I'm geeking out about these, hopefully someone here will :-)
