It could get too long and boring if I just put all of its factory specs here, moving forward.
Some things to note (mainly cosmetic):
- There are a few minor scuffs on the rear fender (visible in picture 1). These happened when I accidentally tapped a flower pot while reversing.
- The AC needs a top up of refrigerant / some gas. During this extreme summer heat, you may need to turn it up a couple of clicks higher than usual.
- The top of the steering wheel has faded slightly from the heat and could use a light polish/refresh. Same with the infotainment screen has some bubbles in it.
- The protective lamination on the diffuser has peeled off in places, but the carbon fiber underneath is fully intact. It just needs a new protective film. You can see this clearly in pictures 6,7 (lol)
- The letter “S” from the Stinger badge went flying (I had got it from Amazon btw)
Recent work done (last few weeks): New Brake pads (front and rear) , brake discs polished, headlights polished, rims polished.
Besides that the car sounds and drives absolutely incredible. The upgrades alone cost around 25k AED and were fitted with only the highest quality of parts, making it stand out from every other Stinger you’ll see on the road. It has never been filled with anything less than Super Fuel in it, and in all the time I’ve owned it, I’ve never faced a single mechanical issue. It’s been extremely reliable to me. Since it’s a sportsback it has some really good trunk space too, fits all your monthly grocery runs.
A little background on the car and its owners story:
I bought my baby at around 51,000 km from its first owner when I had turned 20 It was my first car, and more importantly my dream car. That makes this decision a lot harder than just selling a vehicle.
At the time, I had recently dropped out of Grade 9 and had no clear direction. One random day I just randomly spotted a Stinger on the road for the first time ever and thought, “Woah… is that a BMW?” I went home, did my research, and discovered it was actually a Kia but made by BMW execs without it being priced as a BMW, it looked just so unique to me and stood out to me than any other car, and so I decided that I’m going to own this car one day. Fast forward two years, after a complete career shift I had finally got it, now I’m some teenager with a fancy sports car that I had bought with my own hard earned money, right after getting my driver’s license (tried for 6 months) I was finally able to turn that dream into reality and I’ll be forever grateful. This has been one of my biggest accomplishments to date.
I just turned 24 a month ago, and I feel it’s time to move on to the next chapter. As an active pet rescuer, I need something more practical an SUV that can better support the work I do. So I’m looking to pass this car on to someone who truly appreciates it for what it is, someone who loves cars and understands that a fancy badge doesn’t determine how special a car can be.
