How can I report a crypto account?

Long story short, I was scammed. Sent this guy $50 using CashApp to his bitcoin wallet address for a certain service. He didn’t come through and stopped responding to my messages, so I got scammed. Is there any way I can report this crypto account? I know crypto accounts are super private and anonymous and all that, would a report even do anything? Thanks!

Paid for my hair cut then locked my card. Received a notification that my payment was declined 20 min later?

Hi I got my hair done and paid 60 dollars . Got my receipt and everything. I didn’t notice that it never took the money out even though I got my receipt. I drove home and received a notification that the payment failed because my card was locked? I lock my card after each payment.

I don’t want them to not get paid for their work, how does this work? Will cashapp give them the money or will it say declined on their end too?

I never had a payment take 20 min after I already swiped and got the receipt.

CashApp Check “Fraud”?

So, like a dumb@ss, I used CashApp to get my paycheck deposited, because my actual bank (discover checking) refused to take it in the app. Well, I need the money faster, so I came to this thread and realized I made a huge mistake. I’m wondering if, I go get it cashed, will it just be written off as a bad check when CashApp tries to deposit it? I’ve seen people do this when they have this issue, but I’m concerned it will look “fraudulent”. I talked to CashApp support and they gave me an estimate “your check will be deposited on May 26th 2026” so, if I do go cash it, will it just deposit and they take the money back? I asked if they could just note in that it’s a ‘bad check’ so they will understand that I don’t want them to do it, and then I got transferred to a ‘specialist’ but wtf does that even mean. Help please!

Why did my borrow limit go from 250 down to 160 over night?

I earn green status every month because of my direct deposits, I’ve never borrowed before but I was going to borrow the 250 today because I live off of disability and this month was rough since in the middle of the month my doctor switched me from a medication that my insurance covers to one they don’t and it’s 98 bucks for a week supply and by the time this happened I had spent a good chunk of my monthly income so I was stuck budgeting with barely half of my income left and 19 days of the month left.

I have recurring payments I make every month (automatic bill payments) with my card, I use it as often as possible but I can’t use it for this prescription because if you use a card to pay they charge an extra 6 bucks but if you use cash there’s no extra charge so I’ve been getting money off my card from an out of network ATM which I know Cash App doesn’t count as spending so my spending habits have gone down a little bit since, right now, until I get my next DD, I have to be very frugal and also because I’m not going to pay an extra 6 dollars every day just for using a card.

Can someone explain why my borrow went down by almost 100 bucks over night in the middle of the month basically? Damnit I knew I should’ve just borrowed it yesterday. I’m totally screwed now and if I can’t pay for this medication I’m going to be in literal hell and I risk getting kicked out of my doctors practice and he’s the only decent doctor I’ve had in 20+ years who treats me like a friend, actually trusts me, has no problem listening to me and taking what I think into consideration and finally found a medication cocktail that makes it possible for me to function slightly.

What did I do to make it go down and how can I make it go back up or make it possible to borrow even more? I’d only ever use it if it was ABSOLUTELY necessary.

Afterpay flex

Does the new Afterpay flex card let you get money back that you send someone and split it into payments?

I’m still trying to understand which transactions are eligible.

I can't put in the address to have my daughter's card sent.

I had cash app for a while and decided to set up the kids account for my daughter to give her an allowance deposit every week. I began putting our address. It goes well at first. It allows me to put the numbers, but the second I press any letter it greys out. I can't use just the numbers because it says it's invalid, but it won't let me put the rest for some reason. I need help

I don't understand afterpay

Cash app recently gave me the option to add afterpay. I accepted and ordered the new flex card, I'm still waiting on it to arrive. My afterpay limit is $400 and I'm trying to figure out if and how I can use it to pay for groceries.

When I turn it on, it says my total will be split up into 6 payments. I attempted to pay for a wal mart pickup order, and it appeared to go through but then was almost immediately canceled by wal mart. But I have read that it may not be compatible with Walmart so maybe that's why.

So now my question is, how can I get groceries? Can I use it in store with tap to pay? I have the new flex card info added to my Google pay. Do I need to do something special to use it at wal mart? Have any of you had success with it at other grocery stores?

Please help. I'm not good with things like this.

Fraudulent Charges

Someone logged into my brothers account at 1:57 am this morning and made a ton of fraudulent transactions until about 4 am when he logged in, changed his password, and changed his email contact. He also changed his email password.

They used the borrow/after pay crap, and paid it off with his linked debit card. They didn't actually take that much from his debit card (like 200), but they did use about 200 in borrow and 175 in after pay.

I was hoping someone could give some clarification on how easy it is to work with cashapp on disputes specifically with their credit crap. We filed a dispute through cashapp, and he was going to file a dispute with his bank once they open this morning, but I can't find any info on how cashapp handles borrow/after pay with the credit bureaus. We have no intention on paying cash app anything that was borrowed. Worst case scenario, the bank refunds the charges and cashapp declines the dispute. If that happens though, do they report to the credit bureaus? If we don't pay it and just let them close the account, would there be any consequences? I don't mind dealing with collections, but it would be kind of annoying if we needed to file disputes with the credit bureaus because of this.

DONT buy the Metal Card

My wallet got stolen last Friday, so I had to cancel all my cards immediately. I called Cash App support hoping they’d at least send me a new metal card as a replacement, but nope, they flat-out refused. Mind you, I literally purchased it less than 30 days ago. Apparently if your metal card is stolen, you either pay the $50 fee again or you downgrade to a regular card.

I get that it’s their policy, but it genuinely feels like a rip-off. You’re already paying a premium for the card in the first place, and when something out of your control happens, they just… don’t have your back.
I ended up just taking the free regular replacement because there’s no way I’m dropping another $50.

Anyone else dealt with this? Is there any way to escalate it or am I just out of luck? Maybe a lesson learned, I guess.

UPDATE: My card weirdly enough turned up on my work desk….. but by that point I’d already deactivated the card, so it doesn’t even matter anymore. Still think Cash App’s replacement policy is a joke. My gym is still working to find out who stole my wallet.

Cash App reinstated

Lost my account September 2025 due to “gambling”. Reached out to support went back and forth with them of how ridiculous it was and I appealed it. Withdrew money I had which is only about 40 bucks. I went looking if anyone has ever gotten their account back, and to my surprise, I did not find one single person who said they have. Logged out of account and forgot about it after that. Then here we are in April, I get an email that it was reinstated after further review. Well duh, I told you!!

Assistance in reporting a user using CashApp to sell materials that violate policy

Cash App's website lacks a dedicated, accessible reporting pipeline for international persons to flag serious financial crimes, which is highly anomalous given that platforms in the crypto currency field such as Coinbase and Kraken offer clear channels for reporting money laundering.

I am currently conducting intelligence analysis research as part of my studies at the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC). My research involves testing the efficacy of automated fraud detection systems and adherence to policy.

To do this, I am utilizing fraud-triggering test cards within a controlled sandbox environment. This activity is purely for data analysis and involves real currency and live pseudo cardholder data provided to our school by Visa & Mastercard.

I'm preparing the disclosure of this analysis for an internal JIBC ethics review & special report filings with credit card companies such as Visa & MasterCard etc. Without a clear pipeline the on-going facilitation of this user warrants all students report "High Risk" transactions with test cards provided to our school by Visa & MasterCard.

Am I to finalize the analysis in my upcoming ethics review and filing with credit card companies partnered with our school, with an incomplete result of termination or on-going facilitation of such user on CashApp?

Thanks,

P.S.
Apart from my studies this makes my blood boil. If you want to help DM me and i'll send all the proof and you can report this account. I've faced nothing but resistance on X/Twitter by mods deleting evidence sent to CashApp support chat. Go figure Elon protecting his pals.

Won't accept my address for mailing card

I just set up CashApp & everything verified fine, but when I go to order my card, it is not wanting to accept my address to ship it. I enter the first 4 digits & when I space, as soon as I type the first letter of my street the "next" bar goes from black to gray & will not let me enter it. If I type the entire address with no spaces the bar stays black, but when I hit next it says, "please enter a valid street address". This is not a PO box. Any idea what's going on? Thanks

Cash App Terms Allow legal Gambling

This is the first comment under every time someone’s account is closed but the Cash App terms clearly allow LEGAL gambling.

The terms state the restriction as:

Activity where an individual risks anything of value to get something of value based on a certain outcome. This does not include legal activity with merchants approved by the Company and the Company’s banking partners.
