My Balance is frozen in Cash App account and they canceled my account. Won't accept my debit card or direct bank account to transfer.

I spent $200 at walmart with Walmart Pay through Cashapp, but it said declined when I paid. However, the payment went through on my phone and it says posted.

I first showed Walmart this, and they said there was nothing they could do because they don’t have the money. So I refuted the charge to Cashapp, but it was denied. I appealed the denial, but it said I won’t get a response until August 18. I need that money like now. What do I do? I’m literally missing $200. I can’t afford to lose that kind of money. I feel robbed.

Guys I know I know, I got scammed. I cannot even believe I fell for it but I did. And I’m embarrassed. I also acknowledge it’s literally entirely my fault but also what can I do? Here’s more info

Welp I’m ashamed to admit it but on Depop I saw a listing for a toy I collect. I got excited because it was a good deal and I see people selling for a low price now and then because they’re not usually super valuable. I messaged them and they said a ton of other people were messaging them about it. Seemed real to me bc there are a lot of collectors. Well, they said they wouldn’t sell bc they’re on vacation .

I was like that’s fine! But I didn’t want to let it pass up! So me being the fool I am offered a down payment and they said that was fine . I explained I’d also be fine paying a little more so that it’d guarantee I’d get it instead of another interested buyer. They said that worked so I asked if cashapp was fine w them they said yes. (Yeah idk what’s wrong with my brain yall)

I sent the money and they said they were still waiting but had bad service since they were boarding their plane . Cool. Well that was yesterday. Opened Depop to either being blocked or they deleted it. I reported them on both platforms and I get it was my fault. I know. And I did cry for a bit because I’ve never been THIS dumb.

However,I’m admittedly furious. I’m not expecting to get my money back esp since it was clearly on me 😭. But… can I do anything besides reporting? Don’t hate on me I’m already embarrassed, just trying to see if there’s anything else I can do about it because even tho I was dumb that’s messed up of them!!

Was sent $30. $10 of it went to pay back the pver draft fee so therefore I should have $20.. right..?

Well then why do I only have $10 on my account. It just dose make any sense at all

I try to use support an they are completely useless.. Decided to come over to reddit an see if I could have any help here.

I know it isn't technically a prepaid debit card, but I want an alternative to my actual card from my bank. I realize places like this will usually only have negative experiences, so it isn't the best place to ask but I don't really know where else I would ask these things.

I don't intend to ever link my bank account directly (Personally, it seems like a bad idea. I don't do that with even Paypal)

But for this type of usage, is it a good alternative to something like Onepay?

I also intend to use it on some websites that have it as a payment option, which is how I found out about this, but otherwise it is just to avoid using my actual card.

Well… apparently I’m cash apps latest policy change, they no longer cover the dollar fee for depositing cash into you account, when you are green status.

Unless you have 300 in direct deposit a month, no matter your status, you will now pay that dollar fee.

Cash App giveth and Cash App yank it right out from under you.

Literally the 1st person to message me I’ll send 5 bucks on cashapp! Seriously. Just for fun! I’ll post proof and might do it again after!

I know that sometimes it's the users fault, but it seems like a lot has gotten banned for no reason? I had my account for a little while but I hope it doesn't suddenly get banned. I only really use it for transferring PayPal money to cash app, and buying things.

Closed account for no reason ! I pay my rent through cash app. My daughter is going with my mom out of state in 2 1/2 weeks .. How am I supposed to transfer her money?!

This needs to be escalated to an actual supervisor! Highly disappointed in cash app and I have been a customer since 2018! No issues

So im late on my afterpay, and i have the money to pay it off . But i have a bill i have to pay and i dont want to use the money unless i can use my borrow . Cashapp borrow says i have a 650 limit, but i cant use it unless i pay my afterpay. Does anyone have any experience with this ?
And yes i know i need to get out the payday cycle , but i just had a baby and cant work right now so its up to my husband and money is tight. Thankyou in advance !

I want to start putting some of my money away into stocks, I know I can get a custodial account but I would like to manage it myself. I will likely just be putting my monthly limit of $400 in the S&P 500.

Cashapp denied two legitimate claims. I am done with cashapp but does anyone have advice on how to actually get the money back? Thanks, I’ve already contacted cashapp support

I had a dispute where the merchant gave me the refund and Cash App still denied the claim so they won’t process the refund. This is just a reminder to all Cash App is like using cash, if you are buying things that you may want to return or need protection you will not get that through Cash App. I’m thinking about making a video on this and we are going to explain alternatives for purchases you possibly need to dispute, any thoughts?

Has anyone successfully gotten an appeal overturned when they made a final decision to close your account permanently. This absolutely ridiculous for them to close someone’s account for violating terms when they have never used the service. Are robots running this? AI? Anyone ever had any luck trying? I’ve been trying for a year and a half
