I dropped my 17 Pro Max while exiting Krogers and it fell face down and the screen shattered, I have an otterbox case on but it doesn’t have a screen protector on it, I tried to add AppleCare and even contacted support to see if a supervisor could do an override but they told me it wasn’t eligible as I purchased the phone last year.
I’m not sure what to do about getting it fixed, hate to pay $379 when AppleCare coverage would only cost $29.
It’s the best iPhone I’ve ever owned I’m eligible to get a new phone but I don’t plan on upgrading this year.
It’s hard to find a display oem glass as there just as high as going to the Apple Store. Any suggestions l can use?

I’ve been sitting around in the Kroger parking lot since 8:30am just been trash orders all day, only 2 orders left to go can’t even get that.
It’s been slow since Sunday, been trash orders for the past 3 days now, haven’t seen anything worth taking, if I recall it was like this last year too then got real busy everyday , my guess is school is starting back and everyone is school shopping and less ordering, I’m in Middle TN
Is it like a credit card where you don’t have to put anything down?
Why is the Kroger self checkout so bad, I swear doesn’t matter what item I scan, how I scan it, which way I scan it or which side of the register I’m using the damn “help is on the way” gets triggered, they give you discounts but want your life to be miserable at checkout.
I got to where I scan all my items with the handheld scanner then bag everything last because it just takes up time waiting on an employee to come over, also Kroger in my area is cramped and hardly any room.
I shop at Publix and there self checkout is so smooth I can be done scanning and bagging everything in just a few minutes. Kroger really needs to update there computers and systems
My cashapp borrow of $400 is due tomorrow on the 10th, I’m still trying to come up with the money, I should have it all by tomorrow evening but not sure how long Cashapp gives you to pay it? I’m wanting to have it paid tomorrow evening around 9pm CST
So long story short my landlord raised my rent from $950 to $1,050, the house has termites and mold in the attic space caused by a leaking roof and no proper ventilation, my power went out a few days ago after a high wind came and a big tree limb fell on the power line pole on the house.
and I told him about it and all the issues going on with the attic while he was here, he had my power back on yesterday within 2 hrs. He told me he wasn’t going to do anything about the termites because he had already got an exterminator this was 3 years ago they treated one spot under the house that was it.
Then I told him about the floor joists collapsing in the corner of the bedroom he told me he wasn’t going to do anything to it till after I move out.
I think he told me he was going to fix the roof and gutters but I feel I shouldn’t have a rent increase and living like this. I told him I was wanting to get my own place within the next year or so.
I’m fed up with landlords and renting the past 2 landlords I’ve had all screwed me over kept my deposits for no reason one of them even said “we don’t do that” when I asked about it.
I’m taking every little thing I put into the property, leaving nothing behind. I have receipts for it all.
I’ve been in this house for 6 years, told me he likes me I take care of the house, then turns around and raises my rent

I’m so tired of delivering heavy items to apartments and they don’t even give you directions on where there apartment is located, I’ve noticed there isn’t anyway to block the customer
I was in the store I always shop at seen some guy that’s always doing orders, gave me the weirdest look, also there some that are very friendly.
I only made $25 today, it was so bad, I would’ve just stayed home if I had known this as I have to drive 28mins to town, (Kentucky to Tennessee I’m on the state line)
I got to Krogers at 6:30am and didn’t leave until 4pm, there was just no orders worth taking and the mileage was too far. I went to Walmart to grab some stuff I needed and come back and still nothing. I really hope tomorrow and the weekend makes up for it, I’m literally $717 short on my rent and hoping to have it paid by the 1st. Summers are the worst it was like this last year too but I got it paid

The app isn’t letting me pause any payments. I only owe $42.50 and I have not rescheduled any payments this month, I tried contacting support to have the payments moved to next month but here not responding
So 2 years ago my landlord came over as I told him there was black stuff growing on the ceiling and it might be mold, he came over inspected the room told me he didn’t know what it was and said the room did feel kind of stuffy and told me to just buy a dehumidifier to keep in the room, also the house has termites in the den/ garage area, he had an exterminator come out 3 years ago. Only under the house was treated , then few days ago I found out there is carpenter ant frass the door frame going into my bedroom.
You can see from the salt and pepper frass it’s not termites, I also went up on the attic and found out the OSB board is rotting away form water damage and that’s what’s causing the ceiling to turn black with mold. Me and my yorkie sleep in the room every night.
My landlord just messaged me May 3rd saying he was raising my rent from $950 to $1,050 starting July 1st, he also told me he has insurance and tax changes he hasn’t done yet, I’m not sure what my landlord is going to do I highly doubt his insurance will pay for it as he really hasn’t been keeping the house up to date and kind of stopped 3 years ago, I called Kentucky legal aid and there was nothing they could do as the rent can’t be freezed.
I am just going to have to send him a text message with all the photos after I pay my rent on the 1st

I have a drop in income this month and I’m trying to make every dime I can before the 1st and the way things are going I don’t think it’s going to happen. I tried calling several places for rent assistance but they all have no funding. I am waiting for a Catholic Church to call me back.
