Sammy is 17 today! Such an amazing good boy.

I can't believe it's been 17 years with this little man. He's such an amazing pup. He's everything.

Is there a reason my puppy does this??

My dog is 1 years old, and more often hes been sleeping with his tongue sticking out and his belly up. Is there a reason for it?? Does that mean anything?

Does this baby looks 2 months old?

Breeder told me it’s 2 months old and mom and dad are 3 & 4 pounds. Im scared it’s less than 2 months old. Also I think it’s parti colored right

Media dump from the last few months. 😅

Mordo and Rigs have grown SO much over the summer. They are happy and loving boys. We love our new family members.

Tuffy likes beets beets beets

This is my...Tuffy's first beet of the year. I'm going to boil it in Tuffy's stew today. Little Missy is eating the leaves.

New Little Brother

Today I met the little soul who might become Mimi’s new best friend. ❤️🐾
For those who don’t know our story:

A little over two months ago, I had to say goodbye to my Sophie after almost 16 years together.

Calling her my dog never really felt like enough. She was my best friend, my family, my safe place — somehow my dad, my mom, my little baby and my companion all in one tiny body. She was simply one of those once-in-a-lifetime souls.

During Covid, we decided Sophie should have a little friend.
That’s how Mimi came into our lives.
She was rescued in Hungary by Állat és Ember (www.allatesember.hu), and from the moment she arrived, Sophie showed her how to trust, how to feel safe and basically how to be a dog.

For 5½ years, they were best friends.
When Sophie died, Mimi didn’t just lose another dog. She lost her compass.

Watching her grieve made us realize that maybe there was room in our family for another little rescue — not to replace Sophie, because nobody ever could — but to give Mimi a new companion for the next chapter.

And today… I met him for the first time. 🥹
I’m currently in Budapest, and I visited the same rescue organization that once brought Mimi into our lives.

And there he was.

Tiny. Adorable. Curious.

And I think he actually liked me. ❤️

It felt strange and beautiful at the same time.

Sophie is still missing from every part of this story, but somehow this also feels like life gently moving forward around the love she left behind.

Tomorrow is round two.

This time, Mimi gets to meet him.

And my daughter will come with me too.

So tomorrow, the most important member of the selection committee gets her vote. 😂🐾

Let’s see what Mimi thinks of her potential new little brother. ❤️

Tiny Queens of the house

Izzy and Poppy: tiny in size, enormous in attitude, and fully convinced this entire house belongs to them. Honestly… they’re not wrong. 😂🐶🤎

Our new puppy has very blond coloring with a hint of red. Is this unusual?

She is almost 6 months.
