What are you struggling with that nobody knows about? (Free Pick a Card)

Sometimes the hardest things to carry are the things nobody can see.

Choose the pile you feel most drawn to:

🍓 Pile 1 — Agreement • Strawberry

🫐 Pile 2 — Vitality • Fig

🍉 Pile 3 — Fertility • Watermelon

🌿 Pile 4 — Memory • Rosemary

Just comment the pile number you chose, and I’ll reply with your reading.

Take a moment before choosing. Don't overthink it. Sometimes the pile that catches your attention first is the one worth looking at.

Mystery Game/Hidden Object Game from Years 2008-2010

Hi guys!

Sino rito yung nakakaalala ng PC game na horror themed siya then may hahanapin kang objects from the list? Meron siyang iba-ibang themes or types ng horror, may manghuhula, may ferris wheel, etc. Bata pa ako around those years pero I can still remember na super nae-enjoy ko playing it with my Dad. Can someone help me?

Those people who can afford it should install a home flood control system.

I think it's time for many people to start doing that to manage the water, I don't understand why are those burgeoisies and other upper class neighborhoods just letting their house submerge in high amount of water. Those damages can cause costs more than the installation, it's such a waste and it can also be dangerous kapag naabot ng tubig yung mga sockets, light switch, and other electrical things. It's even better if those who lives in subdivisions coordinate with other homeowners to plan and invest para mas affordable or kahit yung mga simpleng pumps and barrier gates lang to prevent it from worsening.

Reminiscing life through Google Maps

I was trying to find a location using Google Maps when nostalgia hit me. You know when you can view aerial shots of places via Google Maps? I tried visiting places I was once in with people who were no longer in my life, and memories that are now just part of my past. Sobrang nakakanostalgic makita yung aerial shots ng google maps na may different versions like 2015, 2022, and so. It took me down to memory lane and also made me realize how much people, including myself, and places have changed through the years. Literally watching my life in pictures. Thank you sa mga nagtetake ng photos for Google Maps, I guess.

Not sure if this is a stupid question.

madalas kasi dito sa reddit yung rags to riches. Yung mga it gets better na stories. Tia!

What do you do when you wanna disconnect muna saglit?

What do you do when you wanna disconnect muna saglit?
Idk. For some reason, bigla akong nalungkot. There are times na when I feel like this, gusto ko muna maglaho saglit. But damn, ang dami ko nang disappointments with men this year. 😂 Anyway, this is not about my love life.

Tag-ulan kasi ngayon, and ang hirap lumabas. I don’t like going out kapag maulan. Damn brain. Damn rain! 😭
So what do you guys do when you feel like disconnecting or doing a little social media detox, pero ang pangit din ng weather and you’re stuck at home?

Edit:I like playing games, pero madalas mobile na lang, or watching movies and series. I used to love reading books, pero umiikli na ata attention span ko. Gusto ko may ibang ginagawa while doing other things, parang gusto ko lagi akong overstimulated. 🤣🤣 Recommend a good series/movies or book I will try to watch or read them!

My mom FaceTimed me to show me their new AC, and a few minutes in, I had to hang up.

I got so teary-eyed seeing my mom FaceTime me, genuinely so happy, just to show me their newly bought AC. She was so excited because, finally, they can sleep comfortably at night. And something as simple as an air conditioner suddenly hit me in a way I didn’t expect.

Because I remember where we came from.

Since I was around five years old, we lived in a tiny bahay kubo…no living room, just a small balcony and one room where our whole family slept together. We didn’t have a bed. We slept on banig (woven mat) with blankets and pillows. The house wasn’t made of concrete; it was mostly bamboo and coconut wood. And when the nipa roof started leaking, we’d cover the holes with plywood wrapped in cellophane just to keep the rain from coming in. I also remember helping my lola and mom make brooms to sell just to make ends meet. I was so young, but I still remember using a tiny knife to scrape hundreds of green coconut leaves, one by one, just to turn them into brooms that we could sell. Looking back now, I realize how much work went into simply getting by. That was just normal life to me back then. I didn’t know any different. I didn’t realize how little we had because, as a kid, you just learn to make the best out of what you have.

But seeing my mom today, seeing how happy she is, proudly showing me their new AC, I had to hang up because I was wiping away tears like crazy. I didn’t want her to see me ugly crying. She was so happy, and I was just sitting there thinking about how far we’ve come! Because wow… we really came a long way. It’s crazy how something as simple as seeing your parents sleep comfortably can make you emotional when you remember the days when even having a proper bed felt like a luxury. This isn’t really about the AC. It’s about being able to give our parents the little comforts they once had to live without. It’s about looking back at where you started and realizing that the life you’re living now was once something you could only hope for. I think sometimes we’re so focused on what we haven’t achieved yet that we forget to appreciate how far we’ve already come.

From a little bahay kubo, sleeping on a woven mat, patching leaking nipa roofs with plywood and cellophane…
to my mom happily FaceTiming me just to show me their new AC.

I’m ugly crying so bad because… damn. We really made it this far. 😭😭😭

Pucha 2k.. So naturally nagkaripas ako i open yung maribank ko and buti naisipan ko agad ilock yung card ko kase kung hindi, tangina siguro ubos yung laman ng card ko kasi sinunod sunod nung hacker yung pag bili, malalaman mo kasi yun sa maribank pag may failed transaction diba?

Nabawi ko naman yung 2k agad agad kasi responsive naman ang Steam, actually 4k pala sya pero I think yung other 2k is nakahold sa maribank.

Napaisip lang ako saktong sakto yung alert, and nung time na hinahack and nagbibili na ng kung ano anong laro yung hacker dun sa account ko. Kako, “divine intervention ba ‘to?”.

Also, fuck man, you guys should use your energy for something else, like the corruption in the Philippines.

Wag masyado maging mapagbigay

May batang pumasok sa gate, so akala namin nanghihingi.

Turns out, hindi pala nanghihingi yung bata.

Lesson: Wag basta magbigay. Alamin muna ang pakay. 😭

What are some good graduation gifts for men under ₱800?

Guys, help me decide what I can give my boyfriend as a graduation gift. My budget is only ₱800, and gusto ko sana siyang bigyan ng something meaningful kahit limited lang budget ko. Graduation na namin this Saturday, and I really want to surprise him with a gift. Preferably something I can order online or through Shopee para mas mabilis dumating. Honestly, wala pa talaga akong maisip HAHAHAHA. 😭

Any gift suggestions under ₱800? Something useful, thoughtful, or memorable sana. 🥹💗
