How do we successfully introduce our new cat to our dogs? This is our first time taking care of a cat. Cat is currently in a separate room. We initially introduced them but didn’t turn out as we expected it to be, dogs got too excited and cat got scared.

Would appreciate all the input we can get!

Hello po, alin po sa dalawang clinic na to yung mas may lower rates for tumor removal/surgery? Yung girl kong cat 8 years old po kasi may malaking lump po siya sa tummy namumula na po ang kulay, na notice ko rin na nag dugo at may lumalabas na liquid. based sa mga nasearch ko possible na tumor po siya. Nagsisimula pa lang ako sa bago kong work at wala pa akong naipong money at waiting pa ako sa backpay ko para dun kunin ang magagastos. Ubos rin kasi ipon ko but I wanted to make sure lang sana na high chance siyang maka survive 😓 Hindi po siya matamlay at normal naman kumain/inom tubig at nakakatalon pa sa taas ng cabinet at ref pero I know na she's in pain ☹️

I already messaged makati animal health clinic pero depende daw sa size, age at location of tumor. Serbisyo beterinaryo po ay wala pa reply

Planning to buy a cat tower for our cats, okay ba ung ganto na umaabot sa ceiling o much better pa din ung normal cat tower lang? Need namin pagisipan maigi kase hindi din naman biro ung price. Also, ung ceiling kase namin ay made of wood so iniisip namin kung magiging compatible kaya?

Ano po kaya ito? Kagabi lang namin napansin. Akala namin natuluan lang pero nung nilinis namin napansin namin na para syang pantal sa balat makapal na matigas. Tapos ngayon ganyan nanaman parang may fluid na lumabas and tumigas nanaman sa balahibo nya. Insect bites lang kaya ito? Di naman siya nagrereact kapag hinahawakan namin kaya di naman masasabi na masakit. Katatapos lang ng 4th deworn niya and 1st dose nung Saturday.

Pinapaalis sila and pinag bawalan na din pakainin, naglabasan mga cat haters na nagrereklamo sa bldg admin at HOA.

Tired of lingering odors, so I built a quick automated ventilation setup for the litter station.

​I mounted a small exhaust fan directly near the box and hooked it up through a Wi-Fi smart socket. Whenever the litter box detects use, a smart routine triggers the fan to turn on immediately and run for a 15-minute cycle to clear the air.

​It’s been running for a bit now and working like a charm. No manual switching, no odors floating into the living area!

I have complete doses of anti rabies and tetanus, recently had booster of anti rabies last July 23 and July 19 for the tetanus.

I don’t know if this is the right sub, but this post is about my 8-month old cat.

Long story short, lumabas yung intestine nya sa pwet. Dinala ko sya sa vet and sinurgery. Nag-stay sya doon for 7 days for monitoring. Inuwi ko sya on the 7th day even if gusto pa nila i-monitor + more procedures. Inuwi ko sya kase ang laki na ng bill, wala rin akong extra money kaya CC ginamit ko as payment.

And then, after 4 days, lumabas ulet yung intestine nya. Di ko na sya kayang dalhin sa Vet kase nanghihinayang ako dun sa almost 50k na ginastos ko para sa wala. Ayoko na ulet gumastos nang malaki para sa wala kase hindi naman ako mayaman. Wala na akong extra budget for my cat. 😿

Recently, Spidey has been having diarrhea with blood for 3 days now. Today, I decided to get him checked up because naaawa na talaga ako sa cat ko. 😢 It took me so long to get him immediate help because I am short on budget. I’m still a student and don’t have enough allowance to cover his medical expenses.

He was able to get checked and had a CBC, Fecalysis, and 3-Way Test (FPV/FCoV/Gia). The CBC result showed that he has a bacterial infection. Luckily, he tested negative for worms and the 3-Way Test. However, these tests really exceeded my budget, and I didn’t have enough money with me. I tried asking for help on other platforms, but I only accumulated ₱400 (I am very grateful to those who helped), and I still have a remaining balance of ₱2,850. 💔

The vet also gave him prescriptions for his diarrhea and infection. However, I wasn’t able to buy the Immunobio because it costs ₱750.
I am asking those who can share or donate, even a small amount would be such a big help for Spidey’s recovery. 🥹❤️
