Sheath/synthesis…. Hybrid?

Hi all,

I don’t have any plans to upgrade my phone. If I were, I really want to commit to one case this time instead of a collection, lol.

I currently have both the sheath and the frosted synthesis.

I prefer the build and the lip of the synthesis.
I prefer the texture of the sheath.
My ideal case with be a sheath/synthesis hybrid type of thing.

I tried the paragon for less than a day and it was too slick for me.

Can anyone speak to long term use with either the sheath or the synthesis, particularly with drops? I’d love some ideas so that I could confidently select only one and stick with it lol.

Caudabe, if you see this and consider a synthesis with a textured back, that would be wild!

(I never held the black synthesis. Did that one have texture?)

Finally gave in.. The Sheath

My Caudabe journey (not a ranking):

  1. Black Paragon precise w/silver buttons
  2. Frosted Synthesis w/silver buttons
  3. Moonstone Paragon w/silver buttons
  4. Black Synthesis w/black buttons
  5. Gray Sheath w/silver buttons

I put off picking up the sheath because I thought I wouldn’t like the texture.. Boy was I wrong. I took advantage of the sale and I’m glad I did. It’s so unique. Smooth yet grips very well. Buttons are clicky, volume ones are ever so slightly wiggly. The fit is great. I will say my favorite is still probably the Paragon. The feel in hand is so slim and the build quality is the best out of the entire lineup (no wobbly buttons, tightest fit). However, I will be rocking the Sheath for the foreseeable future.

Just want to say thank you! Customer Service.

I really just wanted to give a shout out to Caudabe’s customer service team (Jane specifically) for immediately resolving an issue I had with a brand new Synthesis case for my 17 Pro Max. When the MagSafe ring was pressed in, it squeezed out some excess glue and created quite an unfortunate appearance around the MagSafe ring. I sent photos in, and within a day had a reply that Jane would ship out a new case ASAP.

In today’s day and age where everyone is so quick to complain, I really try and call out the experiences that go exactly as I hoped they would - and this one definitely did. No hassle, no fuss, just a couple photos and an explanation… replacement came and it’s perfect. Love the case, and love the experience.

New Celestial Blue Sheath

After purchasing a black sheath, azurite and midnight paragon I decided to add the celestial blue sheath to my collection since I’ll be keeping my 17 Pro Max for 2 more years and it’s not a bad idea to have a couple of backups.

I fused my azurite case buttons with my celestial blue case and my silver iPhone pops even more in the case now. 👀

Joined the wave! Celestial Blue Sheath + orange accent combo is elite 🔵🟠

Just wanted to share how impressed I am with the Caudabe case in Celestial Blue. The micro-textured material gives it an incredibly secure, sandstone-like grip that completely eliminates fingerprints. Thank you, Caudabe, for amazing customer service.

I bought my third Paragon case recently. I’m obsessed with these cases and went for the open moonstone this time. So excited when it delivered but was disheartened to feel sharp edges in hand…sharp as in too uncomfortable to use as a daily driver. I reached out to Caudabe and had a response within a few hours. Sent them a minute long video showing the raised edge, and included comparison to my azurite precise case. No more questions asked, no additional information needed. They shipped out a new case in less than 24 hours. Received today and it’s perfect.

A company that stands behind their quality is going to earn my lifetime commitment to buying their products. I was impressed and wanted to make sure everyone knows how amazing their customer service is.

As an aside, I purchased the 17 ultraviolet with sand buttons for my partner and now we’re fully a Caudabe household. Excellent choice for a new color. She’s already gotten several compliments.

If you’ve been on the fence, just do it. This company and these cases are worth the investment.

More colors for Paragon?

Hi! I'm getting an IPhone 17 Pro soon and I'm starting to look into cases. I really love the canyon color of the Sheath, and I'm curious whether or not the Canyon is going to come to the Paragon? I like the slim look of the Paragon so I'm leaning towards that one, but I really love the Canyon color. Would love to know when/if you guys are going to add more colors for the Paragon!

iPhone 17 Pro Sheath and TagClip

I thought I’d share my Caudabe setup (apologies for the dust specs) because I rarely see anyone with mixed buttons. I went with silver for all my action-related buttons, leaving my volume control buttons original to the case color (black). Also, I thought I would share an image of my TagClip as it is over three years old and still looks brand new. The TagClip is one of my favorite products from Caudabe.

My newest addition. It is lovely 🩶

I retired my black Sheath! Before I did I put it through the wringer just to see how it held up. Caudabe is not joking about its protection! That case withstood a lot…. I mean a lot before finally warping on the side! These truly are a marvel of engineering! Also, this Canyon color is a work of art!

Went for the Paragon

This is my second caudabe case, atm im with the synthesis OG frosted. Went for moonstone colour with silver buttons people with Paragon who never had it before and only had synthesis is the feel better in hand? I hear that the synthesis is bulkier. And please show me pictures with the silver 17pm on the moonstone paragon. Appreciate it!
