World Cup cover charges?

I’ve just found out one of my favorite bars is charging a $30 cover just to get in to watch games on Friday. That seemed excessive. Is that a one off or is this something most bars in most cities are doing?

Denying the best African referee's life of work and merit on basis of nationality.

Any fellow animals going to the Paraguay match?

I will be getting to the Inglewood area around 1PM. No set plans other than to check in with the Outlaws who look like they're having a sort of loose gathering area at the Meeting Spot.

Shoot me a DM and hopefully we can meet up!

I know it’s a very busy time but are we going to get a breakdown of Dear England?

I’m sure JJ is chomping at the bit to see it 🤣

Oh Jude!

I wonder what JJ thinks about Jude being the one handing Rio his first cap? Should have been Kane or Hendo! Is Jude really out here still pushing himself out there as an England leader?

Good Podcast About the Political History of the World Cup

Here’s a really good podcast about the political history of the World Cup going back to the Fascist days of the 1930s and stretching to today. Interesting points about how the present USA WC is not sportswashing. Featuring Jonathan Wilson of “Inverting the Pyramid” fame.

USMNT v Germany Thread

At the half, I like the aggressiveness. Team played well after they got the jitters out. I think everyone looks pretty good but I’d take Gio or someone else over Tillman. I don’t think he has touched the ball more than twice. Slow getting to his man.
