Has anyone actually been able to get white footbed Chacos clean?
I have tried:
Simple green with a soft bristle brush
Dawn Power wash
Hot water soak
Magic eraser
Nothing even touches the dirt, it seems like it’s become fully embedded in the rubber.

I haven't ordered new Chacos in 10 years. These feel so much lighter. I am definitely returning and order custom to get the vibram sole. Any opinions on which style to customize for the brown leopard: mega or Z/2? My previous pair which are still going strong are the ZX/2.
Hi all! I just ordered my first pair of Chacos as I’m looking for some outdoor sandals with good arch support, and I’m really excited about them but I’m not sure about the fit. I suspect they’re too narrow, and possibly too short also? I ordered a women’s size 9 regular width. For reference I normally wear a 9.5 in running shoes, 9 in Tevas, and 8.5 in dress shoes.
Anyway, should I size up? Go for wide width? Try men’s? Open to any and all suggestions :)
I went to High school in Tucson, so wanted to make a hiking pair to mirror the Sonoran Desert beauty. I got the Terrano sole, in a Men's 10W.
Hello everyone ! I just ordered my first pair from the US. I would really appreciate shared opinion if these fit properly. I have smaller feet so I had to get a women's size, and now I'm not sure if they don't fit too narrow. I also have low arches and pretty flat feet, so the arch support feels kind of uncomfortable. Do you get used to it over time?
Thank you in advance !
Time for an upgrade to the 🏳️🌈 flops. Stoked on the new digs.
I found a pair limited edition that I wanna buy, but they are this damaged. I know they do a repair service but I wasn’t sure if this could be replaced or not? Thank you in advance
Usually a size W7. Originally bought a size 7 and felt they were too big so I bought a 6 (this pair) and I’m wondering if I should go back to the 7.. what do you think?
Hi everyone! Just got my first pair of Chacos off of FB Marketplace for a very good price. Seller only wore them once before selling so they are in very good condition. They are a size 8 women’s and I’m typically size 7 1/2-8. They’re very comfortable but my only concern is the amount of space between my toes and the front of the shoe, as well as that my heel hangs slightly off the back. Any tips for sizing or could they just be too small/big? Either way they’re a comfortable fit but looking for some advice!
I purchased a pair from REI back in 2011. I wore the crap out of those and loved them. I think the modern day version would the Z1. In 2022 (11 years later), the soles on both simultaneously started to come unglued. I sent them off and the soles were replaced under warranty. When they were returned, I could immediately tell the Vibram sole wasn’t as thick. 2 years later they started bubbling and wore down almost completely bare. I sent send them back again, and was told the next repair will not be under warranty. The cost to ship them was $15, it’s going to cost another roughly $55 to have them repaired. Plus, I was informed that the wait would be at least another month, which is eating into the summer.
There’s a certain nostalgia about getting my old sandals back, but I’m also looking online and seeing I could get a replacement pair for $110. The ones I shipped off still have the original straps and buckles.
On the flipside, I’m not entirely sure how the quality on the newer ones is. Am I going to regret giving up my old ones. Or be thrilled I let them and just got something new to enjoy.
Finally ordered my first pair of chacos, and got the z2 classic. I ended up getting a women’s size 10 first (the darker green pair). They seem to fit comfortably, but the heel leash seems a bit looser and my heel feels like it moves some when I walk. The buckle strap is then very long. So I ordered a size 9 (bright green and blue pair) thinking maybe the 10 was too big. Those seem to also fit comfortably, and my foot seems to snug into the shoe better and feel like it moves around a bit less. However my feet just about touch the end of the shoe. Looking for any feedback on which might be a better pair? Also might order a wide size to see if that helps at all since I do have very flat feet. Thanks in advance!
I had been hearing about chacos for over 10 years. Tried a few and decided they weren't for me - thought they were too clunky and didn't fit right. I wore my Croc Swiftwater sandals until they fell apart and then decided to give Chacos another try. This is my third pair of chacos and I finally got a good fit!
What was the problem? I didn't understand how they were supposed to fit. I normally wear a size 10.5 or 11 shoe. The winning fit for me was a size 9, which I thought would be crazy. I almost went down to a size 8 but that was a little too short. And I wasn't even sure I liked this pair at first. But I did the fabric softener trick (used pair) and after breaking them in for a few weeks they're my favorite shoes. I wear them everywhere now! They dry in no time so they're great for water sports, excellent grip for hiking, and they let my feet breathe in a humid climate.
Last year I bought these chacos but sent them back because they felt too big. I’m normally size 7 and wound up ordering size 7 originally. My feet felt loose in them and like they were sliding around, also I pulled the strap all the way down.
I have two questions; would it be smart to try size 6, or does this look like the right fit?
Also, I heard chacos sized down in the last couple months - is this true?
I’ve been wearing my chacos for over a year now, they have quickly become my go to shoes and I love everything about them. However, I did buy the toe loop variation on a whim assuming they would fit me fine. I have skinny toes, honestly skinnier than most ppls, but no matter how much I would loosen the toe strap, they would tighten right back up within a few hours of wear. I only dealt with it for a few months before I made the decision to just walk on top of the toe loop all the time. They’re pretty cemented and can’t be adjusted again. I liked the look of the toe loop better, what was I doing wrong and is it too late to adjust them back?
Well past the point of being able to return them… BUT, am curious if they are actually fit properly and good for ma feetz. Thanks in advanced lol.
Hello!
I am debating getting my first pair of chacos. Just for everyday wear and 3-5 km walks with my dogs. Nothing crazy. I’m going between these two. I tried on the Cushz and I liked them but my arch started to rub pretty quickly. Is that normal? From a quick google I read that cushz’s supposedly don’t need a break in period?
Thank you!!
