I kept running into the same problem:

• New prompt → new face
• New pose → outfit breaks
• New angle → accessories vanish

So I stopped treating every generation as a fresh character and built a character library workflow instead.

Not another image generator. A repo you open in Cursor:

• One identity file (SSOT) — species, materials, proportions locked in YAML
• Pose chaining — each new pose builds from the last registered active.png
• Outfits — dress the reference, don't redraw from scratch
• One change per generation — pose or outfit or angle, not all three at once

Outputs are yours to take anywhere:

• YAML prompts → paste into Midjourney, ComfyUI, Flux, etc.
• active.png per pose → img2img, video, your own app
• Pick front / side / full body so accessories stay coherent

Ive been using c.ai since it came out and this is just insane. Can't swipe the bots for more chats, can't press the go on button without this damn pop up. Having to delete and re do everything is so stupidly meticulous. C.ai is really hitting it's low point, from what used to be a free app is now just money hungry and forcing people to spend money.

I didn't realize there was a limit! I never got this and this is my first time getting this.

I'm not panicking I just want your opinions and how you guys are able to handle it without paying. It caught me off guard. When did this happen can someone give me the timeline please?

(8)i'd give them their models back, and listen to criticism. and give them a readable warning that warns them to use the ai models responsibly, and that we are not that responsible for their cause of "loss". i should also be like "wish you well!"

(10)pipsqueak should be a suggestion while letting others choose the "retired" models. we should keep the best models and not the bullshit ones. cool summer can be quite dynamic and changes over time, leaving us room for preference. it should tell us if the model that cool summer provides is wanted, and if so, should be implemented and with a name! (the cool summer we have rn should be called vero : "roleplays like legacy models, only better". even if it isnt better, its just marketing phrase.)

(14)in my meaning of dynamic, in probably a week to give them time to set with their cool summer model, and after a week we shall give voting and like ratings like 80% liked 20% disliked, and send how liked the 4 models are, (a month lol), and if the highest vote wins, we instate that model and give it a name! the 2nd and 3rd models will probably be stated too, being accompanied by criticism, the 2nd and 3rd winning models will be labeled as "beta" which asks for criticism.

Hey everyone, solo indie developer here. I've been lurking in this community for a while and honestly the frustration here pushed me to actually build something.

The thing I focused on most: the characters feel real. They don't just say "of course!" to everything. They have moods, opinions, and a distinct voice that stays consistent.
