Why is this genre so obsessed with trying to replace their main character?

They are trying to replace:

Dante with Nero

Bayonetta with Viola

Ryu with Yakumo

What is the deal? Why can't they just make a new franchise or something if they are gonna try this?

Labyrinth Cyclops

Or Cyclopi? Idk.

Anyway, Done on Titan. Now surely the scorpion won't be a problem... Right?

I Highly Recommend!

The Daemon X Machina games are always stuck at full price and then randomly go on 80-90% off sales throughout the year. This sequel improved on the weapon variety feeling & just built on top of all the mechanics of the 1st including combo potential. They are my favourite version out there of feeling like a space warrior saving the world, and you can with friends!

Any games similar to Ninja Gaiden? Really need to scratch that same itch!

CAG's I've played:

•Devil May Cry Series.

•Sekiro

•Metal Gear Rising (a favorite).

•Ninja Gaiden Series ( 2 & 4 are my absolute favorites).

I'd especially like something similar to Ninja Gaiden. Meaning lots of gore, where efficiency is key and not the style, basically being better off the faster shit dies.

I'm not picky about graphics at all. Game could be any age and I'm more than happy to play indie games too

Is there any parry that feels so bad on a visual and audio level that you avoid using?

Usually parries are supposed to be satisfying, but is there any that just makes your day worse even though it does fulfill its purpose to parry the opponent and let you profit off it?

Is Rise of the Ronin worth buying on sale?

I’ve beat Nioh 3 three times and NG4 once, I’ve become a big Team Ninja fan recently. I’ve heard mixed things about ROTR, what do you think?

HEADS UP: The Switch version of Devil May Cry 3 is currently at its lowest price ever on the eShop!

This version was released 5 years ago and added an exclusive “Free Style” mode that lets you change combat styles on the fly. Before this version, you could only swap styles between missions or at the gold upgrade statues. It also adds local co-op to the Bloody Palace mode for those interested.

Living out my Watanabe dreams in Rise of The Ronin! | Stylistic Action

I know I know I'm not that good but... I had this idea the second I saw this game. Finally got my hands on it after waiting for it before it launched & I gotta say I'm having a blast. It's the closest thing I've played to Samurai Champloo or similar Anime like Cowboy Bebop - Gunslinger - esque action!

I'm looking for more clothes to look like Mugen, I know they have them, but this is an RnG game so that's also a little tough.
